This is a one fine little shooter! No failures. Fires all brands and makes of ammo. So easy to break in half to clean and put together again - takes seconds. Fits nicely in the black carrying bag that comes with it. You can also fit extra ammo, mags, a small cleaning kit and some small tools in it. The bag is small and can be discreetly transported or stored. It does not look like a gun and ammo bag. Accuracy is very good at 40 yards. I need to upgrade the sights as my eyes are old. A peep is on order! Of course, Bud's has to best prices and service too. Thanx.

If you are worried about owning a gun with kids , this is the perfect gun for you. Breaksdown in 1/2 with just a push of a button for safe storage and easy access when you need it just have to attached the 2 pieces together and your ready to fire !

I bought this gun several weeks ago and overall, I am very pleased with it. I have put 100+ rounds through it so far and only recall one incident of a misfire. After simply ejecting the round, it continued with no further problems. The action seems very smooth and the build is quite durable. I love the easy separating of the barrel from the chamber as well as the included case.
I completely cleaned the rifle after only about 70 rounds; however, that is not at all necessary after so few rounds (there was no noticeable sluggishness or stickiness in the action despite visible grime built up). Cleaning was easier in part by the quick separation of the barrel. Disassembly is simple, but there are three pins in the receiver that I had a hard time removing.
The stock sights are fine and came pretty well adjusted. I managed to get an average of about two inch groupings from 40 yards with the hard sights (not bad considering my below average marksmanship). The sights did come adjusted slightly too far to the right, but wasn’t too difficult to adjust. Also, the magazine must sometimes be fidgeted with to get in and out which gets annoying.
Overall, five stars for fair price and beautiful, sturdy Ruger quality. Excellent .22 rifle. Very fun, reasonably priced, great quality.
Also, five for Bud’s Gun Shop customer service. I had an issue with my card (my bank ran a fraud protocol) so I called to reset my card. I tried again, but the Bud’s site still denied my card, so I called them. I explained the situation and they were happy to pull up my order and take my card over the phone. Thanks!

Like all Ruger products I have owned, this little rifle is accurate right out of the box. The take-down and assembly are easy, both taking literally seconds.
The case in which the rifle comes is a great feature too, allowing personal preference to arrange the hold-downs, as well as ample pocket space for magazines or other accessories.
I was able to mount a scope and customize the "fit" of the carrying case to my liking.
Bud's delivery was outstanding in its speed.
