  This quad rail has 1913 mil spec Picatinny rails at the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions you can mount any size optic mount to the rails as long as it is Picatinny compatible.

• Q: I know it's a silly question, but because its made of nylon and aluminum, if enough rounds are put through it and the barrel begins to get hot enough, will this begin to melt and deform? Or will it just get hot?

  Lloyd, Yea, but you would need a select fire lower and about 4000 rounds of ammo and mag dump continuously. The gas tube would probably melt or fail before the forend melted. Normal use will not melt this accessory.
