• Q: I am in the 70's ... How easy to rack this baby? Does it require a good force to rack?

  YES, I would say it require a medium amount of force to rack it, similar to Glock and many other strike-fire pistols. If you are concern with racking, I highly recommend M&P Shield EZ.   NOTE per buds new policy layaways are at the NON CASH price (no cash discount) also layaway is free the 1st 30 days a $10 fee will be charged for the next 30 and a $15.00 fee for the last 30 days place item in cart. go to checkout. select FFL to be shipped to (can select or change later) continue to payment select Layaway. Pay the 20% needed to remove gun from inventory . Some Items can be placed on a 180 day layaway but most have a 90 day lay away. after payment completed firearm ships to you chosen FFL and you pay him a transfer fee and do paperwork the transfer fee amount is up to the receiving FFL holder normally between $15.00 and $35.00

• Q: I reviewed a S&W SD9VE about 5 weeks ago that I bought from Buds. I gave it a simple negative review, but there wasn't any profanity or vulgarity. The muzzle end of the slide is crooked relative to the frame. Basically, it slants to the right. My account confirms I wrote a review and I cannot write another one, but the review doesn't show on Bud’s website. Anyone else run into this issue? Seems like Buds is sanitizing reviews and preventing ones that it doesn't like from showing.

  Joseph, unfortunately this has been reported by several members before. There has not been a clear cut course of action to remedy this at Buds Customer Service level. Perhaps a complaint filing with the B-B-B would get the appropriate response from Buds as to why your review is not posted. In any event, I hope you get the issue taken care of Sir. Cheers!

  David, Appears to be. Need your FOID card. Here are prohibited items. ----Prohibited are semiautomatic pistols that have a detachable magazine AND two or more of the following:
  Any feature capable of functioning as a protruding grip that can be held by the non-trigger hand
  A folding, telescoping or thumbhole stock
  Barrel shroud
  Muzzle brake / muzzle compensator
  Capacity to accept a detachable magazine outside the pistol grip

  Richard, no Sir. The "Magazine" is the affected item. The "Pistol" itself still needs to be approved for the CA DOJ Roster and it is not currently. Now with the current Magazine law, S&W will get the Pistol approved and added to the Roster.
