• Q: M&p 9 shield suitable for the left-handed shooter?

  This has a reversible magazine release, and a slide stop on both sides. The slide stop on the right hand side of the pistol doesn't really work as a slide release, but can be used to lock the slide to the rear, and you can release the slide by using the over the top sling shot method.
  So yes this would work fine for a lefty.

• Q: Does anyone have any estimate for when gun manufacturers will be able to supply CA compliant semi handguns? I am interested in this, Beretta PX4 Storm, and a few others. All top models are out of stock everywhere.

  David, unfortunately not at this time. With the current Pandemic and Protesting increasing demand and supply being low, these have been out of stock since early this year. There were supply issues with the CA Shields being out of stock since the end of last year.

  Thomas, yes it will Sir. The 2.0 will likely never be CA submitted by S&W. CA makes it difficult and expensive. • Q: Can the loaded chanber indicator be set to unfunctional? I dont like it.

  Well, ultimately you can. But I don’t recommend it. California will get angry. If you happen to use it in a self defense situation and it’s concluded you altered the firearm it won’t be a good idea. The loaded chamber indicator is a major function that makes the pistol CA compliant. You don’t want to risk your Second Amendment right. I know it’s weird, but in the eyes of the law it’s a no no.

  Matthew, No. It needs to have a magazine safety, (non operational with magazine out), thumb safety, and loaded chamber flag. Magazine safety and on some models thumb safety, and extra protruding loaded chamber flag not on 2.0
