Very well made pistol and the finish is great. I had an issue with the cylinder not rotating all the time when the gate was opened. A small amount of polishing on the inside pawl end fixed that and it works flawlessly now.

Initial impression is revolver is very well made. The stainless steel looks great and the smooth cylinder set it apart. It is a very attractive gun and the adjustable sights are a plus. I have another Ruger revolver that is dead on so I am sure this will meet or exceed that. I believe Ruger manufactures some of the toughest firearms on earth and this definitely fits that description. I feel confident if I had to just head out in a hurry this is on my short list of firearms to have with me. IMHO in a real hurry I would grab this and throw it in a bugout bag and would be confident in it's abilities. With all that being said, and it is very subjective, the grips just aren't for me. The "Gunfighter" grips are slimmed down and also tapered down from the steel around the edges. This leaves a couple sharp edges around the grip and while they look good it is very definitely designed for the smaller shooter. Other than that is a five star gun. Bud's was great as usual of course.

Wow. What a nice well fitting firearm. Major upgrade from heritage that I also own and love, this one is fine enough for sidearm or back up. I’m a big believer that the most dangerous Weapon is one you can afford to put 50,000 rounds through. You will serve yourself better with this, lots of practice than a huge caliber that you can’t afford to shoot much, or the ammo cost as much as ten guns....

Buds service is always fantastic and super fast! This .22 WMR single action revolver is solid, rugged, and smooth. It’s a beautiful firearm that will last for generations to come. The fiber optic sights are perfect, even for my eyes. Ruger builds some of the finest firearms, and this is certainly one of them. Get one!

Pros: 1. Excellent fit and finish. 2. Barrel length adequate tfor .22 WMR performance. 3.Williams fiber optic sights. Elevation and windage adjustable. 4. Can be dry fired. 5. Firing pin doesn't rest against cartridge so you can safely carry all 9 rounds. 6. Accurate. 7. Decent trigger. Cons: As with any single action, it takes a long time to reload. I will be trying strips to see if this helps.

Amazing service as always from Buds, and the gun is sweet shooting pleasure. My ten year old grandson is learning with this smooth shooting gun.
