Does this come with the safety conversion parts?

Yes, it is listed on both Buds and the manufacturer website that the parts to convert it to a safety are included, as well as the manual to show how to do it. Is this pistol +p rated?

This is a European pistol and will take +P with no issues. European ammo is much hotter than ours.

This information is directly from CZ-USA (https://cz-usa.com/support/faq/) ---- Q: “Can my CZ pistol shoot +P ammo? +P+?” --- A: Just like in any pistol, +P ammunition will accelerate wear on moving parts. It’s ok to use, we just recommend using it sparingly. ----- The only ammos we don’t warranty are +P+ (since they have no spec to be held to) and handloads (since human error can be a factor).

What is the guide rod made of plastic or steel?

Plastic. They last 5000 rounds or so before you should need to replace it.

What are the barrel and slide material made of? Carbon Steel or Stainless?

its just a steel slide not a stainless and a Cold Hammer Forged Barrel

What’re the grips like? The picture looks similar to what my M&P shield has.

Alex, the grip and angle are similar. Not identical but, similar. My opinion is if you like your M&P Shield grips you will love the CZ as it will sit similar to your shield but the slightly smaller diameter will give you better overall control when firing.

In my opinion the CZ P series grip texture is a little more aggressive than the Shield. The CZ grip seems to fit my hand better than most manufacturers. I suggest holding one to see for yourself but I doubt you’ll be disappointed with CZ.

The P-09 is our full-size polymer offering, boasting an impressive 19+1 capacity in its flush-fitting magazine – unsurpassed by any other 9mm service pistol.
