Put red dot sight on attached pic rail. Sighted in. 100 yards, 1 inch groups, bolt action smooth, rifle just what I ws looking for.

Love this little gun it’s well made for the price, it’s accurate and very easy to carry. I’ve always owned Remington 700’s. Bought this for my son and now thinking about buying one for myself. Great gun for the price compared to other brands.

Haven't shot it yet but it fits my wife just right and she likes the shorter barrel. Looks and works fine.

What a fantastic little rifle. How can you go wrong with the 70 degree bolt throw, detachable rotary magazine, free floating barrel, aluminum bedding, and all for a sweet low Buds price!!!!!!!! I picked this one up for my daughter, based on all of the great reviews I've read about the Ruger American. All of the reviews were true. I'll be buying a full sized model for myself in .30-06, and two more compact models for my boys. Buds had it to my dealer in 5 days (including a weekend). I think that must be some sort of record! I will buy from Buds again (very soon), and I'll be buying more Ruger products in the future. Five Stars all around.
