Thanks budsgunshop for making this purchase so easy. I love the rifle and it shoots wonderfully. Definitely will purchase from you guys in the future. Back to the rifle, well what can i say. I love the weight and build a bit heavy maybe for some but screams quality and overbuilt as a workhorse of a rifle. The muzzle break definitely helps with the recoil but makes this pup loud. the iron sights are great and make fast shots line up smoothly. Overall I can't wait to take this baby on its first hunt.

1 shot 1 kill dropped a 400 lb Brown bear in 1 step. Prob a little over kill for a brown bear but I was prepared for whatever came up. only complaint is the sites all fell off the gun the first time using and took 5 months to get them to send me new sites. Yes we checked them after first initial usage.

The best way to describe this gun "rough but tidy". Rough as in this is a man's gun that's built to take a lickin and tidy in that it has a utilitarian beauty. I love this gun. The muzzle brake works very well, the action is very positive and very Ruger smooth, and the accuracy is purdy spot on. This gun does take some time and shots to break in. I hauled this gun up a few miles up some rugged Utah mountains and through lots of timber, and the stock and finish still look new. This is a purpose built, tough, and accurate gun. It worked great for elk hunting and carried well through timber.

AWESOME GUN!!!!!!!! With my hand-loads Im shoot 3/4 MOA with Sierra 250gr Gamekings!!!!!! Great go to gun if you need a heavy caliber I also have its little brother... The Ruger Scout for deer.... Its identical on feel so Its almost like 1 gun......
