Thanks Bud for the fast service. I am very pleased with the appearance of the TriStar C-100 40 cal. and how good it feels in your hand. Another thing I like is how easy it is to break down and clean. I haven't had a chance to take it to the range and put a few round through it yet but if it is anything like the Canik C-120 that I own it will be fine. The TriStar will be my choice of conceal carry. Thanks again for you great service.

Once again another winner from Buds. The pistol I received is actually an updated version, it has very nice sandpaper texture grips with ergonomic thumb reliefs. It came with two mags, a loader, a cable lock and a bore cleaner. It fits the hand, looks, feels and shoots exactly as a cz75 b compact, for half the money. The ceracoat is flawless. The safety can be engaged at uncocked, half cocked or it can be carried cocked and locked. The double action is quite a reach and heavy, which can be considered another safety. At half cock the tigger pull is reduced quite a bit. The single action trigger is very nice. This is a substantial pistol, the plus of the weight, recoil is better than a poly framed pistol, much better. It shoots very well, it's very accurate and follow ups are quick. Very nice quality, lots of extras at a bargain price. Nice pistol.

To start off this gun does not have a decocking lever. It is the standard safety lever but can be carried on safe with a manually lowered hammer. After thoroughly cleaning it I made it out to the range today. The grips are plastic and do not provide much in the way of actual grip. It was cold and my hands were dry and I still found the grips as something to be desired. I ran a little over 200 various rounds through it with one stoppage which was a failure to feed of a Winchester Ranger 165 gr. A sling shot of the slide put me back in business and I had no other operational issues. The gun shoots very well and the weight reduces the "snap" of the round. I did notice when I got home and began cleaning a few cosmetic issues after shooting. The finish on the gun seems to be very soft. It looked as if the gun was carried everyday and shot thousands of rounds through it. The finish on the barrel had also worn significantly just from the first rounds. I purchased this out of curiosity and because I have yet to see a review on the C-100 in .40 S&W. As of now this gun will sit in my safe and be used only as a range piece. I will also seek a replacement for the grips and possibly a holster for practice. I will continue to use it and if anything major arises I will update.
