Gun has some of the best grips I have had on a pistol. I love the glowing sights. Pistol is heavy but I was already aware of the weight before I bought it. It performs flawlessly, I've put at least 500 rounds with various types of ammo so far it's what I expected from HK. Nice pistol

I purchased my HK P30Ls v3 back in January, but waited until I had a few range sessions to better evaluate it. First of all, I once had a P30, but sold it for some reason. After regretting the sale, I made the decision to buy again, but in this case, I bought the long slide version. There is one notable upgrade, if one wants to call it that. The recoil buffer which used to be a nylon ring that allegedly reduces felt recoil has been updated to a hybrid buffer with both nylon and aluminum. This change makes the recoil feel more like a shove rather that the snappy feel many complain about in the 40 S&W. The longer barrel and subsequent longer slide places more weight out toward the muzzle which to me, makes the gun have a better balance. As far as the long trigger pull on the v3, I have no problem with rapid fire, and can even manipulate double taps. t just takes a little practice, that's all. I find my P30Ls to be extremely accurate, and this is one of the few guns I've owned that the stock sights didn't need to be changed. Everyone who has held my P30 remarks on how comfortable it is to hold, and how naturally it points. As far as quality is concerned, there is no other pistol made with the amount that HK puts into their products. This includes Glock. Sorry Glock fans, I've owned one, nad while they are great and reliable, HK puts it two steps ahead. On top of that, Bud's has lowered the price point to be competitive the Glock. I give the Glock 4 stars, and HK 5 stars. This is the 4th purchase I've made from Bud's and have never experienced a single problem.

Left handed review. If you're a true Southpaw this gun could really be for you. Of all the pieces I've had the chance to handle, this one, by far has it down. If you believe in quality well built beefy tools, look no further. Safetie's, Slide release, and Paddle Mag release's on both sides make this one about as ambidextrous as you can get. Very pleased that I made this purchase. Bud's made the whole process, both simple, and painless.
