Born of the traditions of the Old West, the Rough Rider maintains much of the look and feel of the legendary Single Action Army revolver, only in a scaled down version. Chambered for the .22LR the Rough Rider is manufactured using state-of-the-art precision machinery that assures its accuracy and reliability. The cylinder lock-up is tight and the perfect timing of the action makes for a handgun that will put its shots where you want 'em.
The machined barrel is micro-threaded and inserted into the frame for the optimal barrel/cylinder gap to give you maximum ammunition performance. A hammer block mounted in the recoil shield provides extra protection and has a red dot indicator that lets you know when the gun is ready for action. A new, more authentic looking flat-sided hammer paired with new exotic cocobolo grips, makes the Rough Rider both functional and handsome. There are also other grip materials available, plus finish options include the attractive and durable Smooth Silver Satin. When it comes to the Rough Rider there are no shortcuts taken!

Ideal for hunting, plinking or western action shooting, let the Rough Rider be your choice in a new rimfire revolver.

The gun was less than $200 and Bud's shipped it quick. Right away I notices the action was gritty. I figured shooting it would work it out but almost immediatley the gun would lockup. It had to be taken apart to resolve and once it appeared it would need to go to the shop. Bud's talked me through some attemps but then refused to offer further advice. I think it might have gotten to the point it may not have been safe. I'm not a gun smith and do not work on guns but did not really want to send it off and was told they would make sure I had done nothing to it or I would get charged. Ok! After several years and 1000 rounds it still feels cheap and the action is no better. I would not reccommend this gun to anyone. For just a few dollars more you can get a Ruger that is far and away a much better gun. I'm no fan of Ruger because of thier stance on guns but one day someone will get hurt trying to fix thier pistol. Really life is to short to save $20 and drag around this unreliable pistol.

My daughter picked this one out since she's a fan of Gunsmoke and a few other old western shows. She's gotten pretty sharp with it, but I've had a little trouble with the point of aim. I haven't found it particularly accurate, but it is inexpensive and works well as a fun western themed .22lr plinker with some personality. I have a friend who has the longer barreled version, which I've found is a bit better for hitting the smaller targets.

Love this inexpensive little 22. You can run 22LR or 22 Short for the kids. Buy the optional cylinder and run 22 Mag for the adults!

My first revolver. Taken it to Range numerous times. For a single action it’s a treat to shot with shorts, longs, and long rifles. Very accurate with no recoil. I’ve Eve run shot shell through it with no issues.

Fun to shoot and very handy. Trigger spring broke after a year of firing. After full disassembly, the internal parts are poor quality materials. While it is very inexpensive, I suggest spending slightly more for a better quality gun.
