The Chiappa Double Badger is a handy over/under rifle that give you the versatility of a shotgun, and long range precision of a rifle in one convenient package. It has one rifled 22 Magnum barrel and one .410 bore smoothbore shotgun barrel. It includes an adjustable fiber optic rear sight and is drilled and tapped for modern scope bases.

This is the first Chiappa firearm I have purchased and I am pleasantly impressed. The Double Badger folding Over/Under shotgun/rifle is exactly what I was looking for. This will be my grandson’s rifle one day but for now I will have the pleasure of teaching him firearm safety and how to shoot. I am a retired police officer with 44 1/2 years service. I am a fire arm instructor, Firearm Tool Mark Examiner and Law Enforcement Armorer. This being said I have had my hands on thousands of firearms so when I say it is a quality firearm and the ease of purchase experience was flawless you can beleive it!

Great gun. Shoots awesome. Sights in line with 22 WMR. At 25 yards 22 magnum in middle of 410 ga #6 shot which is great. Only had to raise 22 sight a smidgeon to be dead on. Lever was very tight in braking down . Put barrel under arm and worked lever and it open everytime. Oil it up and set at table working action several hundred times. Now no problem breaking it open. Lightweight and shoots great. Shoots slugs almost as good as a rifle. Plan to use rabbit hunting when rabbit out of range for shotgun I can get him with low powered 22 magnum.

Love this gun it is so fun to hunt with. Great for squirrel hunting. First time buying from Buds and having a firearm sent to FFL dealer. The process was simple and painless. The firearm showed up fast and in perfect condition.

The concept of this gun is excellent and it functioned very well. Fit and finish however, is that of a $300 gun. Don't expect deep, mirror like bluing or smooth as silk hardwood.

The double badger is a fun little gun. They have a pretty cool ghost ring sight on them that is pretty much on point. The cons on this though are some of the quality. The maching on the extractor and breachface are kind of rough, but that may be my model, though everything works ok. Also, the break action is pretty tricky to get used too, you REALLY have to throw the trigger guard forward with a good bit of force to disengage the latch. All in all I am satisfied, it's a cool little guy to show off, though I wish the quality was a little better for the price these are at vs the competition

This is the most accurate .22 wmr I have, and it's a "tack driver". It also produces reasonably tight patterns with 000 Buck too, even at moderate distances. If I had a chance to take this into the woods under a "SHTF" scenario, I'd be comfortable with it in so many situations. Lots of choices ammo wise too, and both the .410 shotshells and .22 wmr are on the light side of the ammo equation to boot! It not "jewel like" compared to high end products, but it appears to be made well enough to be up to the task at hand. I love it! Good job Chiappa!

Picked up my Double Badge Wednesday. Want to put a Red Dot on it. Does anyone know what scope base fit the firearms? Buds is great. Fast Service. Very cold and windy here today and -10 F tonight. so I haven't shot it yet but will update when I do.
