Have yet to try these rounds in any hunting but it’s known to be a good round for defensive purposes. I do know it a penetrates very well.

I bought this for protection while bow hunting, it is very loud and the kickback is quite rough, it definitely needs to be shot with two hands on the revolver, but it is a powerful round for sure

Nice stout rounds, starline brass. They are quite long for caliber and with a wide meplat, so I had issues with them cycling in my Rossi 92. It's fine in a Ruger or another strong revolver (I have a Windicator). I wouldn't use these in a nice old Smith, might be too hot for them. I've since discovered Underwood.

This ammo is very accurate and powerful out of my Rossi Carbine. 3 shot grouping at 50 yards had two holes, two went through the same hole, shot from a kneeling position. Great Ammo must buy for good brush gun! I have no worries that this ammo would take an aggressive black bear, mountain lion, and coyote with ease.

Purchased these primarily as a bear or cat load for my Rossi 92 in 357. They shot very well, quite accurate with a little more kick than other loads. They functioned perfectly in this lever action. Shot a couple in a Ruger Blackhawk. They recoiled, but not any more than a lighter bullet at a higher velocity. No problem ejecting from cylinder. These are bullets that you don't really shot for fun but can rely on to do their job.
