yes they are safe in the rossi 92 however you may have some feeding issues. certain guns (luck of the draw) do not like the flat wad cutter nose on these bullets

Kevin, I actually have some of these and measured them, 1.61 inches is pretty much dead on. They have some kick atleast in my Ruger new model super Blackhawk 44mag. These have a muzzle velocity of1260 Feet Per Second and Muzzle energy of 1075 Foot Pounds. Hope this helps.

Is it safe to use this ammo with a Taurus Model 44?

Taurus tests their revolvers at extremely high pressure that far exceeds Plus P, so any off the shelf 44mag ammo that fits in your cylinder can be shot from your revolver. However high pressure/heavy grain ammo being shot repeatedly over time always puts more strain on a firearm.

David, these will be fine in the Taurus 44 Magnum Revolvers. They are very sturdy pistols and are rated for "Heavy loads". Their design "proof' loads are higher pressure rounds than this load.
