I haven't been to the range in years since I was taught how to shoot. I used to be extremely accurate, but when I went to the range with this gun, I wasn't nearly as accurate. I went to shoot it with someone, and it was my technique that was bad. I would also anticipate the recoil, and jerk before each shot. When the person who I was with fired it, he was on the money. This is an extremely accurate gun with a nice long barrel which helps for accuracy. Once I started to correct my technique, I started to get a lot better. I recommend this gun, because it may be possible to buy a slide converter kit for .22 LR. I still have to call glockstore about it though in order to see if it possible to get the slide for the Glock 41 since the Glock 41 has a longer barrel. It is slightly different in terms of field stripping compared to let's say a browning 9 mm, but it is easy to beak it down to clean it after a few tries of taking the slide off. You can look up a very good video of someone breaking it down easily. Once I practiced, I could break it down in about 10 seconds, because it is simple. You can take off the slide, and then your recoil spring followed by your barrel.

Although i am not a 45 expert, this is the best shooting 45, maybe even handgun, i have ever shot. Less muzzle flip/ recoil than my fn509t. Silver dollar size group at 7 yds not even trying, rapid fire. Even better, it fits my small hand with no backstrap. Perfect firearm. And no, i am not Glock fanboy.

I love this gun! It’s not easy to conceal so it’s not my carry weapon, but it’s well balanced, powerful, and fun as heck to shoot. I feel good about this gun for home defense and the price was right.

Good handgun for competitions and home defense

If you can only own "one" Glock, make this "THE one!" Beyond this, not much to say. The Gen 4 grip is amazing (use the beavertail, trust me!). I have put 10-12,000 rounds through this pistol, without a hiccup. It is smooth shooting and feels great in the hand. More than "duty" accurate, not quite "bench rest" accurate, but I'm not sure it was designed for it. I made one change, as most people will on any Glock, I got rid of the factory front sight post and put a tritium on on.
