Sig Sauer 1911 Scorpion Traditional .45 ACP Flat Dark Earth - 5" Barrel, 8+1 Rounds, Rubber Grips, Night Sights

Been looking to add a 1911 to the family forever and the scorpion was one of my top picks. It didn't let me down. Even covered in packing grease this thing looks beautiful and feels amazing in hand! Grips and checkering are incredible and not a rattle anywhere on it it's super tight. Only got couple clips thru her but shoots as expected and sights are awesome. Love everything about this gun except for the hammer which is differant then in picture. The one that came is kinda triangular shaped and looks out of place on this "traditional" model so that's big let down but I'll learn to live with it unfortunately. Other reason for only 4 stars was buds shipping. Love free shipping but it always takes forever I dont know how everyone says theirs comes quickly?? All in all I'm very happy with my purchase and will continue to use Buds as my go to site!

2nd Scorpion purchase from BUDS. Immediately after receiving weapon took it straight to the range. Sig used to have a slogan, "Most Accurate Handguns Right out of the Box". Couldn't be any more truth to that. Put 400 rounds through it (Winchester "White Box" 230 Gr. FMJ). NOT ONE "Hiccup", "FTF" or FTE". Sig Sauer does it yet again! Very Very Very nice. just picked it up today from my FFL. Very nice out of the box. i put 100 rounds and no errors at all. action was smooth and very nice trigger. Buds gave me a good price on it and it was shipped right away. i would have reviewed sooner but i had to wait over the weekend to pick it up. My FFL was even Jealous when i opened it up to inspect it.

Impressive! All of my Kimbers are now for sale. Paid on a Wednesday, picked it up on the following Friday. Grabbed 3 boxes of "Junk Range Reloads". 150 rounds sent downrange and not one "Hiccup" Fail to Feed" or "Fail to Eject". This is my 6th Sig Sauer pistol. And only my second 1911 Model. I was a bit "Weary" of the Cerakote finish at first, but after giving it the best torture test I could, I have not one complaint. Excellent "Fit & Finish", extremely accurate. Love these "Aggressive" Hogue grips! The Cerakote holds up well also. Looks "Wicked"! At 21' I was grouping all 8 in about a 5" spot. Another great build by Sig Sauer and a great experience from Buds!

Awesome 1911! Put 100 rounds through it today with no issues and couldn't be happier. Extremely accurate and very tight fit. The finish is well done and looks great.

I dont think I would have to modify a thing. I put 50 rounds thru it as soon as I got home. I think it shoots better than I can. Great pistol.

Right out of the box, this SIG amazes the seasoned shooter. The smooth trigger and low level recoil makes this .45 a beast that has been tamed. No modifications needed here and the full steel construction assures a lifetime of worry-free firing pleasure. Enjoy it as I do...all the time. I have no suggestions to make it any better. Without Firing this is a Great Firearm; I took it apart and looked inside and found NO MACHINING MARKS & EVEN DURACOAT on the inside! So far so Good, cant wait to get it in the Dark to see the Sights. Trigger is really, really good, no creep or anything. Constant Pressure and smooth activation. I am glad to have a quality 1911 again, I had to sell one about ten years ago and bought an entry grade firearm a year ago and just was not satisfied with it so traded it off! I did not want to settle for seconds again and was not even interested at the mid grade as I really didn't see anything I was interested in. This is my Fourth SIG and have loved them all but get the trading itch, this one I will not trade off. Cant wait to shoot it!
