Walther Arms PPQ M2 .22 LR 5" 12+1 BLACK POLYMER

Fantastic 22 my favorite of all the ones if tried.

Wonderful rimfire pistol! Exact same dimensions as my 9mm PPQ 5", but obviously lighter weight with the forged aluminum slide. So far it has been very reliable and accurate.

Functions flawlessly, no problems encountered. Has the feel of a full size semi-auto, although a bit lighter. Accurate and consistent. Great .22

Great plinker! Feels very nice in the hand. Love the sight line. The fiberoptic it comes with are on it are just okay. Though they do give you an extra one so that's a plus. Mine came with two mags. The trigger is pretty good. But not as good as a regular ppq but that's because it's not a striker fire. Instead it has an internal hammer. The barrel is not truly fixed you can swap it out with ease. Take down is a little weird at first but nothing YouTube can't walk you through. Comes well oiled. I really like the grip texture and as always aw walther awesome ergonomics. Racking is super easy and smooth. No problem if you have grip strength issues. Bottome line great training/plinking pistol. I'm personally not a believer in 22lr for home defense but does have a rail for a light. And as always Buds was fast and had the best price.

The PPQ 22 is a great pistol. Received it, cleaned and lubed it and headed to the range. I have put 300 rounds of CCI Mini Mag ammo through it without a failure. Very accurate and fun to shoot. Will probably shoot Steel Challenge match with it in the near future.
I have four PPQs now, a Q5, 5" 9mm. 5" 40 SW, and now the 22. All have been super and my favorites to shoot.

OK, so i bought this after getting my PPQ 9mm and PPQ 40 cal. Love those guns a bit too much, as shooting them as often as I want to would break the bank in ammo. I got this .22 a week ago and took it shooting over the weekend. Since it's not a striker fired, the trigger wasn't the same (that was expected), but was still far better than my P22 (also expected). Loved shooting it as there was very little recoil and muzzle flip. Was more accurate than what I've read in some reviews as, after shooting about 50 rounds, I was able to get a fairly tight group dead center of the target (about a 2.5 inch group at 25 feet). So, now I need to sell my P22 as I don't think i'll be shooting it much with this new .22 around !! Maybe I can trade it and my Glock G30 in on a PPQ45 :D ...

First off Bud's was great. Fast delivery with no hitches. Great price! Pistol arrived in fine condition and I was expecting a single mag but it came with two. Awesome! Pistol has great ergonomics and fits my hand well. Nice fit and finish and heavier than I was expecting, much like a 9mm unloaded. Magazines are easy to load and functioned well. Only used CCI minimags but the firearm ran like a sewing machine and never missed a beat during my shooting session. Zero malfunctions of any kind. Good trigger and nice sights. Accuracy good. Overall, a very nice and fun to shoot pistol for a super reasonable price. Excellent for cheap practice prior to shooting similar feeling larger caliber guns. Darn, now I've got to buy the matching 9mm pistol.

I'm a new shooter and the Walther PPQ M2 .22 is the perfect gun to hone my shooting skills. Its inexpensive to shoot (the guy next to me at the range left long before I did), I can focus on improving my skills and not worry about recoil, and it fits in my large hand perfectly. It's easy to clean and it's the same size as the PPQ 9mm, so when I move to the larger caliber there won't be a long learning curve. I don't have a lot to compare it to but it's just fun to shoot. I have put about 300 rounds of CCI mini-mags through the gun with no problems and the only negative comment would be about the rear sights-for me they just don't work well. Lots of nice features with an affordable price!

Buds as always was great. But otherwise a terrible experience with this gun. Many of the metal parts were covered in a rust covered dust/powder when I received it. After cleaning the metal was discolored and had clear signs of corrosion. The slide releases were so bad they were almost bronze colored and not the dark black they should have been. The real problem was the barrel lining was etched and flaking. This prompted a call to Walther to have them look at it. Two follow up calls, two emails, and four weeks later no response from Walther. The pros about this gun are it feels fabulous in your hands, 12 round magazines, is pretty accurate, and ran 250 or so rounds with no issues. Cons are the adjustable rear sight is cheap and flimsy. It was not properly torqued down from the factory because it fell off while shooting it. Also, with the sight maxed out for elevation it still shoots 3-4 inches high. The trigger is good but not great. Definitely not as good as the rest of the PPQ line. And of course the barrel etching. It didn%u2019t seem to be affecting the accuracy. But I can%u2019t trust the long term, or even short term, durability of it. If the condition of the gun had been up to standard I would have rated this 4 stars and been happy with it. But as it was delivered and the lack of customer support from Walther I can only give it 1 star.

This gun is nothing less than great ; this thing is ready to play, right out of the box.
It hits the target every time and is proving to be a great training tool.
Also it is just allot of fun and affordable to shoot.
I highly recommend this to any one, especially people new to the sport of shooting.
