• Q: Do you need to change out the entire slide or is it just a barrel change to shoot other calibers? I own a SIG P229 40cal and can make it a 357 SIG with a barrel change, can't do that with the 9mm P229 so did they change that in the 320?

  Matthew, it is the same for the P320, you can convert a P320 .40 to .357 (or vice versa) with just a barrel swap. For 9mm you need the "Slide" change still same as your P229.

  yes the trigger upgrade was done in 2017 and all of the new guns (like these) were made with the upgraded parts

  Greg, no, it is only +P rated by Sig. Will it handle the occasional +P+ rounds. yes. There are few, if any, modern pistol manufacturers that would rate their pistol as +P+ due to warranty and safety reasons.

• Q: Is the photo of this pistol current? Some pictures of this model I see online look like they show what looks like the new grip shell on the pistol. The new grip shell has a U shaped guard around the slide release lever. This photo looks like just a straight ridge guard under the slide release not a U shaped guard.

  I just bought the P320 compact and picked it up today. It has not been upgraded. I emailed Bud’s and didn’t get a response about this question before I picked up the gun at the FFL.

• Q: is Sig sending out upgraded versions of the p320 or will i have to send a new purchase back to Sig for the voluntary upgrade?

  the guns Buds has are all of recent Manufacture so the odds (99.9%) are very high that they have the upgraded trigger that being said the only way to know with 100% certainty is the check the S/N. Buds will not give out the S/N but be confident that if you do get one that needs the upgrade Sig will take care of you
