Very reliable, easy to hold and shoot.

For the wife we had purchased and tried an M&P Shield 9, Ruger LC9, and Rossi 605 .38/357 as her CCW weapon, but all were way too snappy for her. So we tried this Berssa and she was right at home with it. Being an all-metal design it absorbs most of the mild .380 recoil and it can shoot just as straight as you are skilled. Very happy with the purchase, and always a great experience dealing with Buds.

Excellent bang for the buck$. Loaded with safety features of more expensive auto loaders, makes the Bersa Firestorm a good compact carry option. It has a good heft and a comfortable grip with the rubberized finger grooves and pinky rest on the mag. I particularly like the white outlined rear sight blade, as it makes for quick target acquisition. Takedown and cleaning is a snap. Overall, very pleased with my purchase of the Bersa Firestorm from Buds.

Very nice, a little heavy, but still a good weight and grip/feel - helps with recoil.
Overall happy with purchase, but I did send the firearm in for service before the warranty expired.
Nothing big, my safety/decocker lever was a little on the gritty side.
I found this out after feeling another buyers version later.
Happy with the gun and I recommend it to all my friends looking for a inexpensive but low recoiling home defense firearm and a nice gun to take to the range.
With today's modern 380 acp, John Browning would be proud.

Great firearm for a good price.

Bought this gun for the price, and the looks. The internet said it's a great bang for your buck and pretty reliable - sold - When I went to my FFL to sign for it and begin the 10-day waiting period (thanks, CA) I was pleasantly surprised how nice it felt in my hands. It's DA/SA trigger was also great. This is my first handgun and I was pretty excited to take it to the range, so, after those insufferable 10 days I did just that. I got through 46 rounds of absolute fun... and then... nothing. The trigger wasn't engaging the hammer at all. Was it on safe? Nope. Was the magazine properly inserted? Yep. Welp, that's all folks. I went home pretty bummed out about it, didn't even last 50 rounds. When I got home I did a full autopsy on the thing. I'm no gunsmith so it took me awhile but I figured out what the problem was after tinkering and looking at part diagrams. Turns out my sear broke at the tip that engages the trigger-bar in single action - Therefore, It works in double action, but not single... So it's pretty useless considering the fact I would have to take the grips off and manually disengage the sear after every shot. I ordered another another sear from Bersa ($8.00 not too bad) but here's my issue: When I replace the sear, do I just pretend it never happened? I don't have the money to just buy a Sig or whatever, so I guess I just have to trust that this sear won't break - and that's left me a bit paranoid. People swear by these guns and some have never had a problem so make your own choice, it is a cheap gun. I'll update this review when I get that sear and put some rounds down range. PS. Bud's was fantastic, fast shipping and was very easy - will buy from here again.

Great gun! For the price it can't be beat, and even for double the price I don't think it can be beat! I personally didn't like the rubber grips, but there are plenty of other grips around the internet so that was an easy change. No complaints at all!

Fired flawlessly right out of the box. Feels great In my hand and very accurate little pistol. I have since added the TR16 Armalaser (Green) and could not be happier.
