Yes It is a excellent service gun and that is why it is the issue gun for the US Military Those issues were corrected

There were a few cases believe two when the firearm was dropped it accidentally fired but those issues have long been resolved. This or the Walther, either would be a great duty weapon. Personally like the looks of the Walther better but looks like walthers sights could easily snag on something while drawing it, this sigs sights have less chances to snag on something. Damien, this has been corrected by Sig for nearly 2 years now. On the off chance you receive a new old stock P320, which is highly unlikely, Sig will take care of it no issue. Cheers and stay safe!

Yes, sig saur fixed the dropping problem with the sig p320. Trying to share a video of how they did it but won't let me. Essentially they added a sear block. But yes it's fixed. Hope this helps.

Isaiah, The grip size will depend on the frame module you have. But the gun height between 15 round compact and 17 round carry is just 0.2" difference in the height? Seriously? So the grip lengths are very close. I can feel the difference between my compact and carry grip even though it is just 2 tenths of an inch different.

Yes it's going to feel without any issues. There's honestly very little difference.

Yup ...these guys have got it right. The mag release is reversible for you Southpaws. These are great guns, I have two. They are very easy to work on and customize. Lot's of ways to change the frame size, sights, barrels, triggers. You can even change the caliber from 9mm to .357 Sig to .40 S&W and back. Great for carry or range, easy to shoot and very accurate. I love mine and hope to add the P320 X5, top-of-line, to my gun collection soon.
