This is a great self defense round. I would put it with any other high quality round out there so 5 stars for price for the quality. If your a reloader, you just can’t help to hold one of these and be amazed that it is massed produced.

Hornady seems to provide good quality centerfire handgun ammo at a fair price. Some people really worry about caliber choice. I don't. To me, all ammo is merely a means of sending a piece of lead (of specific size and shape) at a target (at a specific velocity). Thus, the only variables are the size, shape, velocity of the lead, and (most importantly) the reliability of the ammo. With Hornady, reliability is covered. I
