Henry's Mare's Leg lever action pistol is a cut-down, modified version of the repeating rifle, and can be holstered like a pistol but fired with the speed of a lever-action rifle. The handcrafted American Walnut stock is cut to the exact specification and the large loop lever, coupled with the legendary crisp Henry action, makes it easy for you to enjoy those rapid-fire repeating shots. This model has a 12.8" barrel chambered in 22 WMR and has a black metal finish.

Hard to aim but fun to shoot. Had a difficult time finding .22 mag shells for quite a while, but now I can find them with little trouble. Due to the nature of the firearm it is a little problematic at first to figure out the best way to handle it and aim. I handle it like a handgun and it is definitely fun to shoot and cycles ammo without issue. Took me the better part of a year to find a mare's leg, but Bud's came thru as usual. Used to watch this gun on one of my father's favorite tv westerns as a kid and wanted one ever since.

Not everything in life it practical or necessary; this Henry is an example of that. But, I had to have it. It’s considered a handgun because of the length but it doesn’t shoot like one nor does it shoot like a rifle. I’m going to devise some sort of leather strap to go on the shoulder to push this gun out to make it more stable but it’s definitely a fun little shooter. Good luck finding a holster or carry option for it. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because your getting less gun for the money but you’re paying way more for it.

Looks really cool However…. I consider myself a pretty fair marksman but not with this. Difficult to shoot with accuracy. Same with friends who tried it. Quality of the product is what you would expect from Henry. EXCELLENT.

I love this little lever action. It is the best looking one of the bunch with the checkered stock. It shoots like a laser beam. Bud's Gun Shop made my purchase simple and quick. Thank you Bud's Gun Shop- keep up the good work!

I picked up the gun from my FFL dealer and went staright to the range to try it out. I took the gun out of the box and made no adjustments to the sights. I shot 16 rounds through it at the range and all 16 were in the target from 15 yards with 3 shots in the bullseye. No adjustment of the sights was necessary although they are a little difficult to see for mt old eyes. The action of the gun was great. Not to mention Bud's quick delivery of the gun.
