V-Crown Jacketed Hollow Point bullets are designed to provide superior accuracy, reliability, and performance in a personal defense round. The Sig V-Crown stacked hollow point design provides a smaller, additional hollow point cavity behind the main cavity. This design, along with V-shaped jacket skives and scores, provides controlled, uniform expansion at all effective distances and velocities. The bullet has a unique toothed cannelure halfway up the shank to more effectively lock the jacket and core which provides exceptional structural integrity in a jacketed design, ensuring maximum weight retention and outstanding terminal performance. Brass cases are Techni-Crom coated for enhanced lubricity, superior corrosion resistance, and reliable feeding and extraction. I had no idea that Sig Arms "cranked out" ammo in .45 ACP. I am duly impressed how reliable and consistent this ammo is. I now carry it in my Glock 21 for home defense. Thank you Buds for the A++ fast shipping.

I've been impressed with Sig's Elite V-Crown ammo in multiple calibers and in multiple guns. This 45 ACP is no different. It shoots accurately and feeds dependably in several of my 1911's and my M&P Shield. I've not tried it in every one, but the ones I have used it in work to my complete satisfaction. I don't have the necessary equipment to properly test bullet performance in different situations. Like most people, I have to depend on bullet manufacturers and larger testing outfits to do proper testing and reporting. I have little doubt this ammo will get the job done in a situation that goes bad. I know I don't want to be on the receiving end of one or more of these rounds.

These hollow points appear to be of very high quality. They feed, function and eject from my 45's with no issues. The bullet jackets are highly polished nickel and as a result, they feed/function very smoothly almost like butter. I highly recommend these rounds. Sig makes great ammo and these are excellent. Thank you Buds for the great product selection and reasonable prices during this ammo shortage. When the ammo shipped, it arrived at my house in two days. Very fast delivery. Thank you.

While I haven't yet shot the ammo, the transaction was simple. After doing my research, the price was right at Buds and it came with two-day shipping, which was phenomenal. Buds has a lifelong and loyal customer!

First shot hit dead center at 25 yards and then continued on through both sides of the steel drum the target was on. I don't know about gelatin tests, but that work for me.
