Excellent...both service timely shipping and communication from buds. Same with this ruger american predator .22. It has the heft and feel of it’s centerfire counterparts and is a great training rifle to keep skills up. Easily zeroed at 75 yards and have banged steel since. Consistently 3/4” groups at 75yds if you do your part. Only modification I did was dissembled rifle to clean and wipe down thoroughly and lighten trigger pull prior to scope install. Highly recommend if you can find one.

I am pleased with the rifle. Free floating barrel, decent stock, threaded barrel is why I bought it and it is super quiet with a sparrow attached. It took Buds 40days to get it to me because they made me wait 11 business days to resend it after UPS lost the 1st one - and I paid extra for shipping Ins. Probably will not buy from Buds again.

Great little rifle! I mounted a Vortex Crossfire 2-7x32 Rimfire in some spare rings I had laying around. The stock does not flex as bad as I have read online. It moves ever so slightly and the forearm is not allowing the barrel to free float. This did not seem to effect accuracy. The trigger has a definite wall but breaks clean. The fit and finish is on par for a budget line rifle. At 25 yards I was able to stack CCI SV and Blazer rounds on top of each other. For the price I paid I am very pleased with this rifle.

Bought this a while back mostly due to the low price.... i was pleasantly surprised! great trigger and smooth action out of the box. Using Wolf .22 target ammo, it shoots cloverleafs at 50yds. with this along with the little extra features it has (OD green stock, larger bolt handle, and threaded muzzle) definitely a great buy!! BUDS service was top notch as always!

Awesome gun for the price. Shoots great. A few dents/scratches in the stock out of the box but no big deal. I'm happy with it.

Fast shipping from Bud's, as always. The rifle was as advertised and beautifully finished. After working the bolt a couple of hundred times, it became buttery smooth. I took the rifle to my local gunsmith this morning for scope mounting, bipod installation, and trigger adjustment (you can do this yourself, but I'd rather let the pros do it).. He mounted a Leupold FX-1 4X fine-duplex scope, installed the bipod, and adjusted the trigger pull to a VERY crisp 2.75 lbs. I had left a box of Fiocchi 40 gr. subsonic hollow points for sighting in the rifle, after the scope was mounted (I plan to use the rifle with a suppressor). When I picked up the rifle, I didn't have time to shoot it before the range closed. But, the gunsmith gave me two targets he had shot at the 40 yard maximum indoor range distance, after sighting in. Both targets had groups of 10 shots (the magazine capacity). The group on one target could be covered with a dime! The other target group was virtually the same, with about half of one shot sticking out beyond the dime. Reducing our local rabbit population is not going to be near as challenging as it used to be and I'll likely have rabbit stew or fried rabbit much more often now!

Bought this to get my son started in shooting. It's a great looking rife and super accurate too. The trigger is amazing! We topped it with a Nikon P22 scope and added a fake suppressor for now. After bore sighting we took it out for shooting. Ammo used was CCI standard velocity and Norma match ammo. Zeroed the rifle in a few clicks and let my son give it a go. He was hitting steel chickens at 50 yards with no problems. We used the factory 10 round mag it came with and had no failures or hiccups of any kind. All around great rifle that I would highly recommend.

These are the "Predator" version of the Ruger American Rimfire rifles, with an olive drab stock, a barrel-shaped bolt handle, and a .720" diameter, midweight varmint contour barrel. These are great little rifles. I own one in each of the offered rimfire calibers. All of them are excellent shooters. All purchased from Bud's. Ruger did a great job on these rifles, and, for the money, they can't be beat.
