Diamondback Firearms DB9 DA 9mm 3" 6+1 Polymer Grip SS/Blk

This gun is painfull to shoot and in the accuracy department it scores 0 on the good side is reliable it goes bang every time but it's just painfull to shoot it wants to fly out of your hands. If you want a pocket gun go for a 380 a 9mm pocket gun is not very practical i would stick to my Smith and Wesson bodyguard that is the perfect pocket gun and it's accurate. This gun is just a failed experiment it workd but its not practical the only way you would hit your target with this gun it's at a distance of less than 1 yard point blank pretty much. I'll give 3 stars just because is reliable other than that there are better options than this gun.

Db9 was delivered to ffl in timely manor . Nice little pocket 9 . Put 250 rounds through it with no issues at all so far . 150 rounds of range ammo and 100 rounds of independence hollow points . Shot 2 handed and single handed , shot just fine . Gun was shooting left so I did have to drift the rear sight a little bit . But after that it was on target . I like it so far

Got this gun, a Dimondback DB9SL, and was pleased with the look and build out of the gun BUT they could have done a bit better job on the design of the recoil spring. After 50 rounds down the pipe my hand was red from the kickback. Its easy to take down and easy to clean just wish the recoil was a bit better than it is and the thickness of the barrel is the thinnest of any gun I own. The rounds were on target at 20 feet and that's great for a gun of this size and you will get use to the non-lock-open after the last round is fired. It makes a great pocket gun with a sticky holster in your pocket. Its the smallest 9 mm gun I own and I have more than 20 different makes and models to compare it with.

I love my new Diamondback DB9! I just put 50 rounds of American Eagle target ammo and 50 rounds of Federal HST 124 grain JHP through it and it was perfect. Not one malfunction. And it was surprisingly pleasant to shoot. I did put a Hogue Handall Jr. rubber grip on it which feels awesome, but I was still expecting it to be uncomfortably snappy, which it was not. It felt about the same to me as a Glock 43 or Ruger LC9s, which is incredibly minimal from such a tiny 9mm. I had been interested in this gun for a while because of it's ultra compact size for a 9mm but they had some issues in the past according to youtube reviews that concerned me. Diamondback is new to firearms manufacturing (est. 2009) so naturally it took some time to get the kinks worked out of the DB9. So far so good with mine. I will put another 100 rounds of HST JHPs through it, and if all is well, this will be my new pocket carry. Fully loaded with one in the chamber of 124 gr. ammo this thing only weighs 16.06 oz. In a leather Recluse pocket holster it's total weight is only 19.37 oz. You won't even notice you're carrying it. I also like the looks of the DB9 much better in person than I thought I would, especially with the stainless steel slide. The gun is so thin and light, but has a high quality feel to it which I honestly wasn't expecting for the price these are going for. I'm really surprised by this gun and can't wait to shoot it again.
