Purpose built for 3-gun and practical rifle competition, the AR103GN13 is ready to dominate, right from the box. A Timney 4-lb., single-stage trigger and Ergo wide grip are standard. The light weight MBA-1 buttstock is adjustable for cheekpiece and length-of-pull, and an ambidextrous safety and Raptor charging handle provide ease of operation. The barrel is 13.5" stainless steel with Armalite tunable brake pinned and welded to make the external length 16".

Purchased this for my first AR. Right out of the box the weapon system wasn’t functioning properly, when I would fire the weapon it would not eject the casing. I would have to pull the charging handle to eject the spent round and cycle the next. I am hoping it’s just the gas block needing tuned. Hoping I won’t have to return the rifle. Will update further.

This is a great gun! However, the only issue I had with it is the loudness. Because of the shorter barrel in the .308 caliber and competition muzzle break, over the hearing protection is almost required. Regular cheap foam inserts will not work. You will still get rocked from the concussion of it UNLESS you have over the hear or high-quality ear protection.
