I bought these, to try, as I have heard good things about the Federal paper hulled shells. Supposedly paper hulls pattern slightly better, and some feel the recoil is slightly less. I don't know if this is true or not. So far, my shoulder feels no difference. The cost for these shells was very reasonable, as it is considered a premium round. I am using these for trap, at the local club. Next time I will buy enough to get the free shipping.

Great shotshells. They reload and re-crimp exceptionally well on a MEC progressive press.

Excellent target load, even as one who prefers a hotter propellant charge, I can't find anything bad to say. Easy to track shots because the wad is very visible in air. Also extremely consistent shot-to-shot pattern-wise. Definitely going to buy more in the future, and the price buds has them at is unbeaten. Give a box a try, especially if you've never shot paper hulls. The walls are actually stiffer than many plastic hulls which surprised me pleasantly.

Very good shells been reloading them also . They have 6 crimp but will crimp with the 8 crimp ( paper hulls dont have memory in there crimp like plastic hull . I have reloaded some 8 times and still going . Would recommend to buy them and give them a try .... 5 + stars

I bought these to test out what the old-timers were telling me about paper shells having less recoil. I can't say I could notice the difference in felt recoil, but they definitely shot great and I got to try out reloading these old-style hulls. I won't be switching over from plastic CF hulls to these, but if you like paper hulls these are the ones you want.

When I am shooting trap, skeet and clays well, and I want to get the most out of my shooting scores, I purchase this ammunition from Federal. It is the most reliable and consistent ammo I have ever used. When you want to hit 25 out of 25 you can remove the possibility of the ammo causing you to miss by buying this stuff. A little pricey, sure, the better material things in life usually are.
