Just has adversed for EZ use. I have family members with various medical issues and now all of them own this gun. Shoots well also.

It's a good pistol, slide is easy to rack but I have used other pistols that feel the same, are a bit smaller and hold more rounds. I don't like it for EDC but it's because of personal preference. Size it's similar to a G19 but slimmer and holding less bullets. Best feature of this pistol is the trigger because it's a single action hammered.

Got this pistol for my wife and it’s just as great as the rest of the shield line. Would recommend this pistol to literally anyone.

This pistol is great. It did take a bit to get the slide mechanism worked in so that I could do it one handed, but that's to be expected with a new gun. The recoil is almost non existent and it's not as loud as my Kimber Micro 9. It fits well in my hand and the grip safety is comfortable, which was a shock to me. I've not had one with the a grip safety so I was skeptical of it at first. It is also easier to load the magazine than my Kimber. Overall I'm happy with this handgun.

First, great service by Buds as always. Regarding the pistol, only complaint is that is shoots 5 inches left of center...but at least it’s consistent! Maybe it’s my hold on the firearm, but have the same model in the 380 caliber and it’s been right on target from day one. Was shooting two other various brands and calibers same day at range, no issues. Just not used to buying a new handgun and having the aim so far off just out of the box, but know it does occur at times. Fortunately, I believe sight is adjustable and will update review once/if I have it corrected, or will have S&W look at it.

Smith & Wesson have done a lot of things right with the M&P 9 Shield EZ from the easier-to-rack slide; pins on the magazine (similar to .22LR mag's) to assist in loading rounds; ergonomics; concealability; ease of replacing sights, especially the rear sight, making it a breeze to field align at the range; and the list goes on. My wife has one and I enjoyed it so much I bought one as well. She has onset of arthritis and fines she it able to rack the slide much more easily on the Shield EZ as compared to her full-size or standard Shield so she's more apt to practice and use it. The M&P 9 Shield EZ may well have just become my new favorite firearm.

Purchasing the Smith and Wesson was my very first gun. No regrets. Dealing with Buds Gun Shop and timely delivery to the FFL was perfect.

The S&W M&P9mm EZ is exactly that - easy to rack, and easy to load the magazines. I tried many hand guns and all of them are well made and highly respected, but I didn't like the way my second finger fit under the trigger guard. The EZ fits my large hand perfectly. Buds shipped on time, In fact, I think it came sooner than expected.

Bought for my mom to keep at her house who has arthritis and wasn’t able to rack or load her XDS any longer. She can easily rack, load and fire this handgun without issues. Highly recommend for older or arthritic shooters

This is a very fine weapon. All parts slide easy and smooth. Excellent choice for someone who has some difficulty pulling slide back.

This S&W M&P9 Shield EZ 9mm is a perfect pistol for use as a conceal carry weapon. It is small enough to conceal easily but feels like a larger pistol when being fired. The trigger pull is very smooth the recoil is limited and easy to control. I highly recommend this weapon especially for women to shoot or anyone to use as a conceal carry.

This is my second EZ9 2.0. I loved the first EZ 9 2.0 I bought here about 6 months ago I bought one for my daughter.
We use these pistols for home defense. My daughter and I are new shooters and had the honor of being taught by Bill,
a US NAVY Underwater Certified Small Arms Expert. Bill tried our pistols and thought they were an excellent match for
my daughter and me. He particularly liked the trigger and that we could use these pistols for concealed carry.
American Made. Awesome.

Great EDC piece. Checked it over and fired it; all good and functions as expected.
It truly is easy to cycle and the hand grip fit my hands very well.
Excpect this to last a long time.

This is my first firearm and it is amazing. I have put about 500 rounds through it in my pistol class and range practice without any misfires. Excellent pistol with solid grips that make this feel solid in the hand. Glad I got this for my concealed carry!

I don't know what kind of magic they used to make this weapon so easy to rack the slide but it works! There are smaller pistols out there for concealment but they're no good if physical problems cause you to be unable to work the slide. If that is your case then I highly recommend the Shield EZ. It functions and feeds everything I've run through it with zero malfunctions. Excellent trigger and just an all around solid firearm.

This is my first gun, I bought it for self-defense and chose this model for the ease of operation.
At 65 with arthritis, the M&P Smith & Wesson 2.0 9mm EZ is easy for me to operate. The slide
is super easy to pull back and the magazine guides make for easy loading.
I had the honor of being taught by a Certified Naval Underwater Small Arms Expert-Bill. Bill
was a submariner in the US Naval Sub fleet for years and is a great teacher. Bill tried my Smith
and he liked the trigger and the overall performance. He showed me what my Smith could do
at the range. I couldn't be happier with my choice.

Well made gun. Shoots well and we have fired over 300 rounds through the gun with zero issues.
