The Q4 Tactical is a great 9mm handgun in every respect. It is totally reliable and extremely accurate. I highly recommend the Q4 for your collection.

Fantastic handgun with highly flexible design including target comp and tactical use. I have a series of Walther and SIG pistols BUT this is becoming my favorite GO TO HANDGUN!
My experience as a long term LEO has always been TIER 1 with BUD's in product and service!

Like my other Walthers: this one does not disappoint. Excellent ergonomics and trigger, what you've come to expect of Walther and the PPQ line of pistols. The only disappointment I must voice is that Walther no longer includes the optics mounting plates and factory test target in the box. I called Walther and spoke with their customer service reps, they confirmed that that is indeed the case. They did guide me to a link on the website where you may request one free optics mounting plate for recent SKUs that no longer include the mounting plates. I shot the pistol off hand at a target placed at 25 yards and shot a softball sized group. I couldn't be happier.

*Upgraded from Walther PPQ M2*
I purchased this firearm as an upgrade to my PPQ m2 that I have owned for 5 years. The stock m2 was my edc and favorite carry gun option. I was excited to get the Q4 Tac as its optic ready, extended magazine, and threaded barrel all appealed to me, and cost wise it makes much more sense to buy this weapon rather than upgrade a stock m2. However, I do have a bit of an issue with the Q4 tac and that is the sights. This weapon is supposed to be optic ready, I picked it up from my FFL about a month ago, I’ve had my optic (vortex Venom) since before I owned the firearm but I still do not have the mounting plate that’s “included” in the firearm purchase price. I got one plate in the mail today.... however it’s not the right one so back to Walther it goes. This wouldn’t be a huge deal except the standard irons on it are NOT carry/ self defense friendly. The front sights is bright and easy to see in bright light. However, in low light or darkness. Nothing is visible front or rear. Even in an indoor range it was easy to loose sight alignment as the rear sights are large, solid black, and lacking any visual aids. Obviously I’ll get my red dot on eventual and that’ll help resolve that issue. But for a “tactical pistol” I figured something for low light woulda been worked out. Even though the m2 sights (stock) are not glow in the dark they are much better than these. Otherwise I love the weapon. Trigger is the same quick defense trigger and there’s the usual Walther quality. I would recommend this weapon but with the caveat of the sights included suck.
