Absolutely no negatives with a Glock 17L! Love it!

This is my last Glock pistol. I'll keep the ones I have which have all been modified so they work well. However I'm tired of replacing triggers and sights out of the box and having ammo picky pistols. Glock is past it's shelf life. If you want a project gun there are plenty of parts for them and you can build something that will suit you most likely but out of the box .. nah, I'm done with that. I bought this one as a lark really. I have a Glock G40 10 mm that I like and thought this LS might be fun to shoot. Replaced the trigger a couple times to make it useable, found it's ammo picky with target ammo and the first couple times out would barely cycle without FTF. Had my gunsmith build a custom trigger that isn't mushy and has a great reset that helped. Put talon grips on it and a tritium front sight with the green dot Holosun, the one they made especially for it. I have only shot it out to 25 yards. It's accurate. Last time at the range it ran pretty well. Only one FTF but I knew it didn't like Norma target ammo so that one's on me. It loves S&B 124 or Hornady P 124 gr XTC. So for the time being I'm still shooting it and figuring out if I like it enough to keep it. Only had a bout 500 rounds through it so it's new to me still. I wouldn't buy it again. I wouldn't buy any Glock pistol and I've been a Glock fan for years and years.

Very dependable weapon. I agree on the complaints of the top slide should have a better finish; it's like the skipped the last step in the bluing process. Runs smooth, accurate, and dependable.

Love the way the long slide shoots. Added a Holosun SCS MOS and it co-witnesses with the factory sights. Adjusted the dot to match the front sight and was dead on at the range.

My Glock 17L is a tack-driver! The longer barrel and slide make it a dream to shoot, and the accuracy is incredibly consistent. Perfect for competition shooting and a great addition to my collection.

I haven’t had chance to go the range yet but gun looks nice can’t wait to try it out in the next couple of weeks

Awesome Glock. I actually prefer the 34 to the 17L but I’m glad I purchased the 17L at a much lower price tag. It’s a great shooter. The 34 just feels more balanced. Only reason I will give the 17L four stars is because the dust cover is made of plastic, I feel like over time could wear, but other than that it’s a Glock with a huge slide an huge guide rod spring on a very familiar frame.

I’ve always wanted a Glock 34 but since none were in-stock anywhere I went with the 17L. I am not disappointed at all! Put 500rds down range the day I picked it up and another 300 or so of various +P offerings the next day. Zero problems. Love it!

Excellent firearm. If you can’t get a Glock 34 gen 5, get the 17L. Worth every penny.

Great accuracy, it might as well be a target shooting pistol. I soft shooting. Great slide to frame fit. It has minimal movement when compared to my other Glocks, berettas or sigs. Great back straps System. The one with the beaver tail improves recoil. Ergonomics, ergonomics are Glock ergonomics; not perfect but very good once you figure it out. Trigger when dry firing is meh. During actual shooting is s very good.. the whole it’s better than the sum of its parts. I really like it. Accurate beyond belief.

Firearm (Glock 17L gen5 Mos) did not have the same slide finish as the DLC coating on my gen 5 19, which might just me being picky, but its a huge contrast. Very smooth shooting long slide 9mm would be perfect for training someone how to shoot as a first gun, or if you wanted to hunt with 9mm. I like it besides the poor finish on the slide upon delivery.

After having the Glock 17L Gen 3 the 17L Gen 5 was a no brainer. I was able to take it to the range this weekend and put my first rounds through it. My buddy and I took turns duel wielding them which was awesome, that is what America is about after all. Zero hiccups. It performed flawlessly.
