First off, this a quick review done casually to compare this product, known LR M118 specimens from US military sources and premium civilian available products.\\r\\nAdmittedly I looked at the easy stuff. Finding: primer sealant lacking on most cases, very concerning for a supposed parallel military sourced product. Easily observed debris between the case mouth and bullet, all case heads had obvious impact dings (scratches, dents etc) minute in size but universally on all case, especially within the extractor groove. Lastly, working in an industry that thrives on accountability I find the lack of any Batch or Lot identification on the packaging really makes me feel uncomfortable for a premium priced product with no traceability. These findings encourage me to pull a couple of bullets and compare them with known SMK specimens. Made no dimensional checks after the visual findings. Had I had the opportunity to eyeball this product before ordering I probably wouldn\\\\\\\'t have, but that\\\\\\\'s just one opinion from a bench shooter with OCD. Keep in mind this is suppose to be the best 7.62 round available to the military precision shooter through DOD. How this product shoots and reloads is yet to be determined. Hope this helps.

Best overall round for a .308Win bolt gun. \r\nAlthough the price for this ammo has gone up since I purchased it (sad face), I thoroughly enjoyed shooting it and it grouped sub-moa @300 yds.

Excellent round. Nothings perfect though so let me elaborate. These rounds are excellent \\\\\\\'as is\\\\\\\' for a bolt action rifle. However, if using these rounds for an AR10 you must lube them or you will have pmag problems since these rounds are never polished after the annealing process hence they do not stagger stack well because they have crap on them. I inspect every round because no matter who I have bought them from there are always a few rounds for the bin. Usually I have found either a crushed casing that will cause extreme pressures, a projectile that needs sanding or get this one, I got one blank in this shipment. Well I don\\\\\\\'t own a BFA and I\\\\\\\'m not playing any games so that one I actually saved just to make me laugh. At the range it is hard to find a round that is as good. The only other rounds that I stock are the Berger Juggernauts 185gr for long range and Speer Gold Dot 168gr for close combat. All in all if you don\\\\\\\'t mind spraying a little One Shot and wiping and inspecting each round then this is for you. If you want a round that performs just as good as it looks out the box with zero work needed then Berger is the way to go. Oh, one last thing. I had two light primer strikes with the M118LR with the JP AR10 spring kit on my ArmaLite. With the Berger round I never have that problem, so if keeping an aftermarket light trigger is important to you, go with the Berger\\\\\\\'s.

This is legit M118 LR not the XM stuff thats out there. If you\\\'re running a rifle chambered in 7.62 this ammo is a must have. I ran these in my 16\\\" LWRC R.EP.R. with a SilencerCo Omega 300. I\\\'ve run a variety of 7.62 and .308 loads through this rifle and it loved this. Zero issues through 60 rounds. Managed to shoot several sub moa groups. Buds shipping was super fast. If you\\\'ve been considering these, buy them you won\\\'t be disappointed. I\\\'ll be ordering more of these very soon.
