Well priced, but not an accurate slug. I started shooting fast and somehow lost one to the lane next to me. I'm not the best shooter but I've never had one go rogue like that. The rest of my groups at 50yd were shoddy to say the least.

These slugs are worthless i dont reccomend them. With gun in bench vise could not hit 2' target 2 out of ten times at 100 yrd's do not use these for hunting. They are Ok for use inside your home as defense ammo

5 stars for Buds, 1 star for this ammo. It is not this same as the picture. Slug seems a lot smaller and it is not accurate at all. Probably ok for close range like 7 yards but nothing more then that. Good ammo to waste nothing more.

Make sure to hold your shotgun correctly or will leave a nice bruise on your shoulder. Has quite a kick to the load, but overall great shotgun shell, perfect for deer.

It seems the manufacturer has changed the design of this cartridge after positive reviews were submitted. The picture on the product listing shows a traditional full 12ga slug with an attached wad. The product as delivered in June 2022 has a sub-caliber slug (16ga?) placed in a 12ga shot cup with wad. Accuracy is terrible out of an 18.5" Benelli M4 using both improved cylinder and modified chokes. This ammunition struggles to group 18" at 50 yds. Using the same shotgun and chokes, inexpensive Winchester Super-X slugs easily grouped inside 3" at 50 yds. This Sterling ammunition does fire and cycle reliably, so it may may be useful for defensive purposes inside of 20 yds, but I wouldn't trust it to impact anywhere near point of aim past that.

I really like this Sterling Tornado slug ammo. Made by Sterling in Turkey, it's actually quite good. Was in the desert with an old DirecTV dish that we set out about 75 yards. Using a Rem870 LE trade-in with 18.5" barrel, my friend and I continuously put slug size holes in that dish. Nothing but a bead sight, but these slugs fly STRAIGHT! Someone left a big porcelain sink out there too. I actually got porcelain frag from 50 yards out when shooting that. Only a couple drops of blood loss. 🤣

These things are the truth! And since I can only shoot slugs in the indoor range I go to. There will be my go to rounds! I would definitely recommend.

Very poor accuracy in fact accuracy is an overstatement from a benchrest at 50 yards I had about a 4-ft spread with three shots may have been the gun but I don't think so. On the positive side the price was right on those shotgun slugs they function flawlessly and fired great they just didn't seem to possess accuracy I'll try then a couple of my other shotguns and if things change I'll reevaluate possibly. PS I actually I forgot to tell you I was using a Mossberg model 500 with a 28 inch barrel with improved cylinder tube on it.

I recently had time to test the shells in both my remington 1100 and my Mossberg 835 the shells cycled very well and had no more kick than an express load or a double express loaf like my grandfather had I will be ordering more in the future
