Roughly Glock 19 size but appreciate the slide mounted safety

This is my 2nd S&W 9mm. I had the Gen1 and now this one. By far one of the best gun that I own. I dropped 100 rounds at the range and it performed flawlessly. Great stress reliever. Trigger was exactly what I was looking for. Some people describe it is "spongy" i can see where they get that from but for me it is perfect. I do not like the hard triggers. It is small enough to conceal or open carry as i have done many times in my community. It is not bulky or uncomfortable.

This was my first S&W purchase and I can honestly say I really love this gun. Trigger was a little tight when I first got it, but after about 50 rounds and a cleaning it is perfect for me. This is the first handgun my wife has fired and she has now told me that it is her gun. She said I need buy another one for me, LOL. I would buy again if I ever needed too.

The 2.0 triggers are better than the gen 1s, but are still kinda “squishy”. Other than that it’s a fine weapon.

This is my first striker fired pistol and first impression on the trigger compared to my other internal hammer fired is how much more travel (feels almost spongy) the trigger has. I am not sure if all strikers are like this but besides the travel it does break cleanly once you get there and the pull is not too heavy. Other than getting acclimated to the trigger the pistol is perfect size/weight and functions perfectly.

Excellent transaction during purchase of the S&W M&P9 4" Compact pistol. The firearm is well built, with excellent fit and finish. The trigger feel is exceptional and quite crisp. The firearm performs extremely well at the range, no malfunctions with several hundred rounds fired. All additional components such as magazines, grip inserts are of high quality. I am very pleased with this purchase experience and with product performance.

I love carrying and shooting this pistol. The texture on the grip is quite aggressive. You definitely want to wear an undershirt if you conceal carry IWB. The size of the gun is great. Sights are good. Trigger is a good weight pull for a carry gun and the thumb safety makes the gun that much safer to re-holster.

I'm glad I ran across Buds! They have been great! I used their layaway plan which was super convenient for me. I even called their customer service which was exceptional! I wanted to change what I had in layaway to the same model but with thumb safety and they made the change with no problems quick and easy. The handgun i ordered came quickly and I love the the gun. One downside is that I expected my S&W M&P 2.0 compact to come in a hard plastic case and not a cardboard box. I think that's Smith and Wesson issue. I'll be a member and will continue to buy from Buds! Great service, great products!

I think the S&W, M&P series is the best combination of cost value and quality. These handguns feel great in the hand and offer features based on what the consumer wants. They are accurate and will hold up for the long term. Great purchase and great service from Bud's.

Great gun for first timer I would recommend this M&P to anybody out there who is very interested in this beautiful piece of work gun. Very nice conceal compact gun this is a wonderful gun.

nice firearm had no problems with feeds although not quite accurate do to the failure of receiving 40 caliber magazines for a 9mm handgun so i had to purchase 17 rd magazine at the range but the handgun itself cycled well no feed issues 200 rds on paper had ago time with it felt great thinking about making it my edc have fun

It's a Smith and Wesson M&P series pistol. What more can I say. Great action, consistent trigger pull, puts the round where I want it every time. Light weight, easy to handle, well balanced handgun in my opinion.

For me, this is the ideal size pistol for conceal carry. Its about the same size as a Glock 19/23, it has the same feel as the H&K P30/VP series with an agressive grip texture on the frame, its stainless steel with a meolonite (black) coating. This pistol is very controllable and easy to shoot. the trigger does not have that saftey like a Glock that bites your trigger finger every time you pull it.The trigger is in fact very smooth and has a good reset for a factory trigger unlike the original M&P which was somewhat gritty. All in all, I think Smith and Wesson hit this one out of the park. There are a lot of good carry options out there, I just feel this one offered everything I wanted in one package and the price is hard to beat. The M&P 9c 2.0 has proven very reliable in my case, shooting FMJ/JHP brass cased ammo (Fedral, Winchester, CCI, Underwood). Do your own research, read the reviews, watch the videos, this handgun is one of the top options out there on the market today in my opinion.
