I am new to rifles and wanted something cheaper to practice and have fun with. This gun is exactly that. The scope is perfect and the gun shoots smooth. Out of the box the scope was off just a touch. It nice I dialed in the scope, which is sooper easy to do, the gun is dead on at 25 yards. For a first time purchase on a rifle this gun is just a lot of fun. I shoot all kinds of ammo through this gun, at least a 1000 rounds and I have had some fails to fire and eject. I would say maybe 12 total rounds. If I shoot CCI I never have a problem, only problems is with the lower velocity cheap ammo I bought. I highly recommend.

Bought this for my ten year old son. Perfect rifle to introduce your child to firearms. He loved it, and was able to shoot it fairly accurate his first day, after siting in the scope. Just a fun little gun that will last a lifetime.

I HAVEN'T SHOT IT YET BUT I'VE HAD A 10/22 BEFORE AND IT SHOT RIGHT ON..NO FEED PROBLEMS..AND VERY,VERY ACCURATE.
THE NYLON STOCK WAS AS I EXPECTED...STURDY AND GOOD LOOKING..

Terrible experience with this particular model of Ruger 10-22. Multiple malfunctioning right out of the case! Took it to a Appleseed Project and was embarrassed to death with it. Hard to get the magazine to release and multiple ammo jams in the chamber. Even tried other Ruger magazines and they were no better! This one is definitely going back to Ruger as it shouldn't have left their factory. I guess quality control isn't what it used to be! Buyer Beware on this model.

Great deal on a quality rifle. Many consider the Ruger 10/22 to be the standard for 22 LR rifles. This value-priced package deal of rifle, scope, and case makes for a great addition to your rifle collection whether experienced or a newbie.

Bar none this is the best 22LR rifle I have ever owned. The scope is OK but a upgrade just might be better. You will enjoy this one, the cost of ammo is what makes this fun. My wife loves to shoot this one no recoil. And that is a big + for her. Easy to clean have shot about 1000 rounds with no problems. If you like going to the range this one will give you the thrills you need with out busting your pocket.

Although I have not fired the gun yet, I wouldn't buy a Ruger if it wasn't a proven technology. The 10/22 is just that firearm for fun and even survival on a small scale. But, as always, even as the Covid-19 was beginning to rear it's ugly head, Bud's got the firearm to me in very acceptable time frame. Bud's communicated with me via email the entire time about the safety of their employees, slower process due to reduced personnel, and to please bear with Bud's thru this difficult time. I have ZERO complaints. Arrived in perfect shape, as usual, and is a very nice rifle and scope combo for the price points. I live in dusty West TX, so the case is just what the gun range (doctor) ordered. I have purchased over a dozen firearms from Bud's. One time I did not like the firearm. Bud's traded it back in for what I wanted. I trust Bud's for all my firearm needs. Thanks again Buds!.

Awesome gun, and will recommend anyone who is interested in buying a .22 to get this one.

I got this from Buds a couple years ago. I had to send the gun into Ruger because of constant malfunctions. They told me the receiver had a defect and replaced it (though i had to pay the FFL fee again because it was the serialized part). It seemed to fix the problem, but it is still a semi auto 22, so it does still jam occasionally. The hard case is a kinda long for the dimensions of the gun, but it works. The Weaver scope started to have problems. The reticle in the scope started to rotate inside the scope. I haven't had the chance to send the scope back to weaver, and I'm not sure if i even want to. If you want a 10/22, I wouldn't recommend the combo as sold here.

for the money this is the best buy for anyone looking to get into rimfire guns.
Is it the perfect design? No, the comb height on the stock does not allow for a cheek weld when looking through the scope. But the stock build quality is solid, the scope is excellent for the money and the box is great too. This feels like a $600 bundle for under $300. You can replace the stock and you have a perfect 10/22, buy it now!

I bought one of these a few weeks ago and took it the range yesterday. I am very happy with the purchase. To get the rifle, a scope AND a hard case at this price is a fantastic value. As usual, Buds made the sale a snap.

A little over a year and the crosshairs of the Weaver scope just fell over inside. Unscrewed the back and looked inside and found a very cheaply silver of metal that had shifted. Very disappointed since there's nothing from a .22lr compared to a higher caliber rifle. The rifle itself I very pleased with, and so is my 14 year old daughter. We just got done sighting in the iron sights...

As always excellent customer service with Bud’s and what else can you say about a Ruger 10/22. It is a piece of perfection when it comes to .22lr’s.

It was everything advertised. Straight out of the box, the scope needed adjusting, as it was off center a bit, but a little blue thread lock will prevent that. My only complaint is that because of the rotating magazine design, this gun is ammo picky. No cheap LHP as they catch and jam on the feed, even after I buffed it. Switching to CPHP or CPRN made all the difference between a good day and bad day at the range. The case is a little cheap, the foam topside was barely secured although they used lots of glue, just didn't get it stuck. Standard cable lock, as usual.

First, I just want to say that this is my first firearm purchase and also my first purchase from Buds. Second, I have shot this rifle a couple times now and I have to say, I really like it! It is accurate, easy to load, and just plain fun to shoot! I also really like that it comes with both a scope and a travel case. Lastly, I want to say that Buds has been a pleasure to do business with. Shipping to one of my local FFL dealers was quick and painless and I really appreciate that! Overall, both this rifle and Buds get an A+ from me!

I got it as a give to myself to be practice medium distance shootings instead of using more expensive ammo. So far, everything works perfect, without any issues even do I am using cheap 22LR. The scope is nothing to brag about it, just simple and useful, and the case it is like any other with the Ruger stamp on.

Its a ruger 10/22.... there are 1000s of reviews out there for the firearm. What makes this purchase unique are the included case and scope. The case is a bit lower quality than i originally expected however i am by no means disappointed with it for the price. For basic transport to and from the range/property it serves its purpose. I would probably reconsider using it if you plan to beat the heck out of it or throw it around. The included scope came mounted on top of rifle and after minor adjustments is shooting very accurately, and to purchase on its own is ~$100. All and all if you're interested in a 10/22, and would like the additional accessories of a scope and case for the rifle, I would recommend this product to you!
