I have a B22 Savage Precision rifle and because this is labeled as a mag for an A22, I was uncertain if this magazine might not be the correct one for my rifle. It was and they work very well.

I got a couple of these rotary magazines to go with a recently acquired Savage B22FV. They feel pretty sturdy, and have been easy to load, once I got the knack of pushing the round in sideways, rather than straight down. I read some reviews where folks complained about this, but I don't see what there is to complain about. So far, they have functioned well. Provided that they last longer than it takes me to lose them somehow, I think they will have been a great purchase for the price.

I was so excited to get the new magazine for my Savage A22. It was much easier to get the 10 rounds stuffed into than the one that came with the rifle, things were looking good. The next day I took it out to sight in the scope I had installed. Nice calm day for a change and I shot the magazine that came with the A22 first. It worked great so I put the new mag in, it fell out, put it in again and gave it a smack with the heel of my hand. It fell back out! Tried one more time and then tried to see why it wouldn't stay in, I compared it to the other mag and figured it out. The release on the mag that came with the rifle is held to the mag with a steel pin and it has a steel coil spring to hold the lever out so it catches to the front of the mag well. The new mag release lever is part of the front of the mag, molded in and it was tight against the front of the mag. It didn't even come close to engaging the catch in the mag well. I tried to pull the lever forward to catch but it broke off and now I'm stuck with an easy to load unusable magazine. Sure would like to have another like the one I got with the A22.

Easy to order, and delivery was very quick. The magazines work as well as my original for my Savage B22.

The Savage A22 that I purchased came with one 10 round and one 25 round magazine. I purchased several more "Savage MAG A22 .22 LR 10RD [90023]" magazines. They are well built but a little bulky. They have worked flawlessly so far.

Received updated mags with spring loaded tap. These mags lock in better and drop out better than the stock mag.

Although unclear from the Savage site, the A22 10rd magazine is also the correct part for the bolt action B22. It is identical to the magazine provided with the rifle purchase. This magazine works great on my Savage B22-FVSR.

I bought four of the B22 mags in 22lr. They required lube and break in.
