Buds is 5/5, the gun is 4/5 for cutting some corners, namely the cylinder. After shooting every SA .22 I could get my hands on, this was my favorite. Watch some YouTube reviews, each of the single actions have their pros and cons. The Heritage isn’t allowed to be sold in certain states due to the steel not being able to handle heat, etc. There are better made SA .22’s than the Chiappa, but I really love the full frame size vs the competition, that was the selling point. Almost scale to a .45. This pistol will shoot as well as you can, goes bang every time, and is super cheap.

Excellent shooter ,although I have my doubts about how long it will last already have relatively deep scratches around the cylinder from 500 rounds , cause it some kind of cast metal with steel reinforcement

Nice little revolver. The finish of the Chiappa 1873 definitely leaves more to be desired. And some of the Philips head screws on the receiver looked to be almost be stripped. Other than that the Chiappa 1873 functions flawless and is very accurate. Overall I'm pleased with my purchase.

Very nice for the price. Super easy to shoot. Great gun for a beginner to learn on or an expert to plink with. My only issue is discharging the used cases. The spring likes to stick a bit. Great gun overall.

It functions but it doesn't appear well made. After shooting a few cylinders it's hard to eject the spent casings. I recommend, at this price point to go with the Heritage Rough Rider, its built much better.

I have only shot a box of ammo performed well as expected. As others have said wish it came with wood grips
