The proprietary Ruger mini 14 magazines are excellent, sturdy, perfect functioning. I see no good reason to take a chance on any other brand just to MAYBE save a couple bucks! Ammo prices are OK, I especially like the Rio Royal #1 Buck 20 gauge!! Now my “go-to”. Bud’s has the good products, prices and quick shipping! I initially found the website a little wonky to navigate but a few times around the block, it’s OK! Thanks, Bud’s!

I've had problems with every other brand magazine for my mini-14. Never again. Ruger factory mags run flawlessly and are darn tough. Highly recommend

High quality Ruger factory magazine. No worries about jams or malfunctions. It wouldn't hurt if Ruger could get the price down a bit.

Ruger products always work. The 30 rd mag is made by Ruger it is solid like a rock. Bud's is 5 Star in every area.

In my experience, Buds delivers as quickly as any of their competition and generally faster. Orders typically ship in 1-2 days. Only once can I recall waiting a week for something. Regarding that purchase, I was given an update indicating the reason for the delay (the items came from multiple warehouses)

The Ruger manufactured Mini-14, 20 round magazine is a fail-safe, plug and play product. Non-Ruger magazines are temperamental when trying to insert them and often times require filing. Ruger magazines reliably eject quickly and easily. The magazines insert smoothly into the rifle without jiggling or turning the rifle over to see why it is sticking. Save yourself grief and filing on the magazine and purchase these mags.

It's a Ruger, and it is your best choice for magazines for your Mini 14. Rock solid with excellent fit and finish, it just plain works better and lasts longer than any of the aftermarket magazines out there. The only drawback is that is it more expensive than it ought to be, and you would think that Ruger would show some love to the folks who have invested in their long guns. For the extra cost, it is worth it, but the cost disparities are annoying.

I have some Tapco 30 rounders for my Mini-14 and while they have some quirks they do reliably cycle all of my ammo in my Mini-14. That being said, the factory mags are definitely EASIER to load. The cartridges roll in smoother and more easily than on the Tapco ones. And they feed reliably with no issues with steel or brass. The only things are occasionally I have to check them for rust (lots of humidity where I'm at and lots of rain lately) and the price. I'd have more of these if they weren't so expensive.
