Today was the first time using this, I have to say, I was so impressed on its performance. No jams in my ruger 10/22 and at 50yrds my groups we're about .5".

A superb top of the line 22lr ammo. I use this ammo for match shooting and hunting. Leave it to BUDS to have a great ELEY selection.

I recently purchased a ruger precision rimfire. And like any new rimfire owner you go through so many different kinds of ammo to see what that particular rifle likes. That's when I came across Eley and Buds Gun Shop. So I ordered a few boxes. And to my surprise they worked great. So I ordered more. The purchasing process was amazing. The delivery was very quick. It was great all around experience. Will continue to use them in all of my future purchases.

Best squirrel hunting ammo I have found. Sighting in rifle and put 6 in a row in the same hole. Had to move my gun to make sure it what what I was seeing. Lol. Very consistent shot after shot.

Ammo is the new style with the 38gr bullet and non-black oxide cases.

Yes, it took a bit of time to receive the ammunition.
In the meantime I bought some Mexican product.
The Eley is much better. Accuracy is improved, no misfires or jam ups in the action of my rifle.
Good product, good price, delivery and shipping were fine under the current circumstances.

This is really accurate out of 2 of my 10/22’s. Both guns have 20” barrels, one being a Shilen FT and the other is a Whistlepig bbl. This is labeled as high velocity but not as fast as just about any other .22lr. My chrono averages 1117fps. There is an audible difference from this to other ammo as well, with this sounding just above sub sonic. I do like it and intend to hunt small game with this ammo as the accuracy is 10 shots under 1/2” at 50yds out of my guns. Overall, I’d recommend trying it for yourself.

This is great ammo. I am amazed at the difference in accuracy between Eley and standard brands. I have used this ammo for two seasons of squirrel hunting and I will never use anything else. I can shoot sub 1/2 inch groups at 50 yards all day with Eley in my old 10-22 and the best I can get with standard ammo is +1". Try this ammo and you will not be disappointed. It's worth the the slightly higher price.

This review is for the newer Eley 38 gr. high velocity hp. (white box) I recently purchased from Bud's. I believe the picture shown is for the older 40 gr. version. Anyway, the 38 gr. shoot great out of my CZ 452 American - extremely accurate.
