I\\\'m not a fan of \\\"boutique ammo\\\". I believe most of it is marketing hype and a pretty box. In the case of the Critical Defense ammunition, it is specifically designed for short barreled concealed carry firearms and to not over penetrate. If you subscribe to the theory that bigger is better, more powerful is better, and believe that deep penetration is the way to go, then this round is not for you. But if you want a good defense round that won\\\'t suffer a clogged hollow point when it passes through clothing, expands well at lower velocities, and stops without going through your attacker...consider this ammo.

I love this ammo as I have never experienced any FTFs and that is what you want with self defense rounds. I am a little concerned in that several boxes I recently purchased seem to be tarnished. The copper tip I could understand, but not the nickel which should resist corrosion. These rounds go into my \\\\\\\"range only\\\\\\\" pile.

Worked great in my Ruger LCP2. This round got very a good review In Lucky Gunr review against many other 380 rounds.
