Very light and comfortable to hold. Used suppressed with huxwrx flow 22ti and it was very quiet and flat shooting. Had only few failures within my first outting but I expect it needs to be broken in a little. Overall pleased with the purchase overall.

Arrived quickly and it is as descibed, compact vesitile power house for varmint hunting, personal protection, target plinking, or just walking about in the woods. Likes Winchester 40 grain ammo, the 2 supplied magazines contain 30 rounds each makes for plenty of trigger time between reloads.

I just received my CMR 30 from Buds a few days ago and I am thrilled! No hassle ordering from Buds, I have ordered many guns from them. They have the best prices anywhere. The CMR 30 has performed flawlessly. A friend brought his wife over to shoot her little Ruger LCP, and she fell in love with the KelTec and it was hard to her to give it back. She must have put a couple hundred rounds through it. Now her husband is going to order her one. From Buds, of course!

Mostly plastic rifle very small when stock is collapsed. Con: feed ramp issues needed upgrade

Surprising accuracy from a 16" bbl semi auto. I installed a Sig red dot and shot a nice 15 rd. Group at 200 yds.

The CMR 30 is an excellent lightweight semiautomatic rifle. It goes without saying that it's fun to shoot but is also great for varmint and some predator hunting. This is the second one I have owned - I sold the first one a few years back and have regretted it up until getting this new one. In my opinion this is a great bugout gun particularly for a family as it is easily operable from experienced to barely experienced individuals. Light recoil with the 22 mag which has a long flat trajectory...for the same reasons could also be an adequate home defense weapon for less experienced or individuals with weaker grip, etc. Bud's had the best price out there by the way - so thanks again Bud's for an easy and affordable experience.

A great gun I bought to teach my kids how to shoot. Basically no recoil, functions smoothly and has good accuracy. I would definitely clean the gun first thing as mine was pretty filthy from the factory. Only other points I'd make is that the .22 WMR is significantly more expensive and loud than .22 LR ammo.

I can not get this gun to run whatsoever! I installed an mcarbo kit and still nothing but issues. Buds service was awsome only reason it gets any stars!

I fired the gun once with no issues out the box. Every round cycled, shot and ejected with no issues. I used the CCI mag + v. The gun recommends the mini mag but the smaller + v rounds had no feed or fire issues.

This is a fun firearm that I truly enjoy taking out on the range. It has intermittent failure to feed issues. I noticed I did not experience the issues when I loaded the mags with less than 20 rounds.

I bought this little gun, the CMR30, just before Christmas and have shot it one day at the Ft. Bliss Rod and Gun Club. It's a blast to shoot, powerful, accurate, and not as finicky as the PMR30. Almost any powerful 22 WMR round will work though some softnose and/or hollow points may snag on the feed ramp. I've had very good performance from 40 grain CCI Maxi-Mag, Federal 50 grain game-shok, and Winchester X 40 grain. But some rounds don't work at all, not enough power to cycle the weapon, the Winchester Universal being the worst that I shot, I didn't have a single round feed correctly. The CMR30 has a collapsible stock that can be instantly extended by just pulling on it, and collapsed by putting your trigger finger on the catch while keeping your hand on the pistol grip. The Magpul sights fold flat against the top picatinny rail for protection and are easy to open and close. Collapsed the CMR30 is about 23 inches long so it'll fit in one of the small 26 inch weapons cases, and along with a bunch of magazines and ammo it's still a light-weight.
If you're looking for a fun, light weight, 22 WMR gun, you just found it!

Great little gun! Shot on target right out of the box. Was hitting targets at 50 to 75 yards. My wife and ten year old son really love to shoot it. Fits perfect in our bug out bag.

The Kel-tec CMR-30 works only as good a one CAREFULLY reads the instructions! Using the correct grain-weight ammo, and proper loading technique of the magazines is the trick to flawless functioning. Once I realized how critical grain-weight was, I moved up to Federal Game-Shok 50gr WMR -- and that brought the sweet spot in function. I also used Hornady Critical Defense WMR 45gr FTX, and also had flawless functioning. Anything less (at least during early new-gun break-in), resulted in multiple FTF hangups. Don't eve try to use any 30gr bullets... Very accurate shooting, and placement of a foregrip makes for a great FAST-FIRING package!
