It was as expected. Hi-Point is everything the reviews I read described. Not a pretty gun but seems real solid. Goes bang when it's supposed to. I haven't run much ammo through it yet but I installed the ghost ring sight and look forward to checking it out. The little Kershaw knife is pretty cool. Nice knife. Seems to be a good deal for the $$.

This has been a very reliable pistol. It's a little bulky and heavy for EDC but it IS doable. Slight mods to the magazines make hollow points behave much better. Break-in is important with these. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone starting out or on a tight budget who wants to practice or protect.

This was much better than expected. Always hear bad things about hipoint couldnt be happier.a bit bulky but i have put 1000-1500 rounds thru it and 1 jamb. not bad for a $190 gun!

Great gun right out of the box. Nice slide finish, best sights-yellow front-red rear, cannot fire if magazine removed which is a good safety feature. Shot 900 rounds and only had a single 'smoke stack' at about 500 rounds. Gun is heavy due to large thick slide but makes for a smooth shooter. Very accurate, comfortable and reliable. will get another. USA made.

This was my first purchase from Buds and they were fantastic. I ordered the C9 the day after Christmas and it was at my FFL by the 31st. The process was simple thank you Buds. Now for the pistol review. When I arrived at my FFL and checked out the pistol the rear sights were snapped off. I don't know who did it, my FFL Buds or Hi-point. Either way I'm not worried because it has the ghost ring sight and I'll use that for now. I called Hi-Point today and they are shipping me a new sight for free. Thats one of the reasons I went with the Hi-Point, because you can't beat there Warranty.I love the Feel of the gun. I don't know what people are talking about when they say its very heavy. I'm a buck 40 soak and wet and I have no problem handling this gun! For $190 bucks who can't go wrong with this pistol! Ignore what snobs say. I've shot glocks and Berettas and I'm not impressed with their accuracy! Why buy a pistol for 500 bucks when you can buy 4 of these for the same price and have a better warranty?!

First time ordering from Buds. Ordered a Hi Point C9 at 11:30 Saturday night. Gun had a turtle next to it, so I expected it to take the 2 weeks, like it said. Got the gun on Thursday. Wow! Heard a lot about Hi Point, bad and good. Took it to the range today. Brought 100 rounds. First magazine, I had 3 ftf. I thought, oh no, all the bad I heard was true. Then shot through the remaining 98 rounds like a champ. No problems even rapid firing 8 shots in a row. Nice gun. Like others have said, just don't limp wrist it. Good, solid gun for the money it can't be beat. Feels great in my hand too. Thanks Buds. All the good things I've heard about you are true, and then some.

I ordered this Hi Point C9 with the Kershaw knife and hard case on December 30 at night, and I picked it up from my FFL on Jan 2nd. Wow! Excellent work, Bud's! The case is a fairly standard case, the knife is a decently cool little extra. The C9 itself is a little beast. It chewed through 100 rounds of 115 grain Russian TulAmmo like a champ. Don't limp wrist it and all will be well. You cant beat this 9mm for the money. No wonder they sold out right after I got my order in. If you are thinking about the Hi Point, just do it. They are cool little guns that go bang and they hit what you are aiming at. Heck, for the price, buy two just in case the 'S' hits the fan.

Picked up my Hi Point 9 from my FFL yesterday (2 days after bank processed my card) and went to the range today. Fired 60-70 rounds thru it and both my wife and I are extremely happy with both Bud's and the gun. I actually purchased it for her and she loved it. Will be purchasing more form Bud's in the future.
