New favorite small game ammo. This in combination with a suppressor you can get a few squirrels out of a group before they know what hit em.

CCI .22 LR Quiet .... great for shooting squirrels in the back yard "quietly" ... it's no louder than a pellet gun but will get the job done with one shot, very effective out of a lever action, but if you are using a semi-auto it will not cycle the action, you would need to cycle it manually, not enough powder I guess, that's why it is quiet, great for lever action, bolt action, single shot ... and very accurate inside of 50ft I could hit dime on the fence post. I will buy again.

CCI is just awesome ammunition, this ammunition works every time and the segmented hollow points work as described.

These are amazing. I own a little over an acre corner lot with woods behind me. I can't shoot regular 22 because it would probably alarm neighbors but these fit the bill perfectly. Hardly any noise out of my Rossi RS22 or Marlin 60. I probably wouldn't shoot these out of a pistol though because the shorter barrel would be much louder. These were penetrating through 3/4 pressure treated plywood at 30 yards which which was shocking to me. Definitely a viable varmint option. I was able to get a quarter size grouping of 5 at 30 yards. You'll get a flyer here or there with any 22. They don't cycle in semi so you just have to shoot one round at a time. They make a semi auto quiet round though. Great for getting my plinking fix when I don't feel like going to the range.

Would not cycle in my Ruger 10/22 semi. But, much quieter than the subsonic CCI rounds. Had a little trouble hitting our 18" plate about 80 yards out when sighted in for standard velocity, had to aim higher. But grouped nicely at 20 yards, didn't try groups any farther out that day. This is a round you could use in the suburbs for rodents and not alarm your neighbors.

This is the hardest hitting, straitest flying copper-coated and therefore best subsonic round ever. The Segmented hollowpoint is devastating beyond compare. With 40 grain bullet, this ammunition routinely cycles a smooth operating 10/22 rifle. Mot all the time, but enough to make it very worthwhile for a safe and effective round.

I've used several CCI rounds and this is by far the quietest round I have sent downrange. I kid you not, I can shoot this out of my bathroom window and knock squirrels out of the oak trees in the backyard and not wake my wife up. I didn't have any ejection issues either. Keep in mind I am shooting this out of a 20+ year old 22lr so it's nice and broke in. I've had ejection issues in the past with newer guns but these are great in a gun that is broke in and has sent many rounds downrange.

Worked great on squirrels, super quiet out of my old Winchester 67

I had a ground hog problem and these took care of it. Now that CCI 22's are impossible to get I will double my money on the ones I have left.

I thought the segments would separate more but it just deforms along the scored parts.

I've used this ammo, for several years, on backyard pests and it is devastating on groundhog sized critters. Unfortunately, I've had several misfires with this batch. Firing pin puts deep dings in the rim but no bang, the misfire rate has been around 20%. CCI rimfire ammo has always been flawless, but not this batch?? I will buy again as it is very quiet and kills em dead.

Most excellent for pest control. Very quiet without silencer, super quiet with silencer. Repeat one shot kills and super cheat at Buds. Segmented bullet breaks up reliably and diminishes chance of serious ricochet.

I love CCI ammo, but these were louder than I thought they'd be.

I had been looking for a quiet .22 round that would let me plink in the back yard without alarming the neighbors. Other so-called "subsonic" rounds were not remotely quiet. The difference between a regular .22 round and this CCI 970 quiet round is startling. It sounds no louder than an airgun. The fact that it fragments into three parts on impact was evident on a squirrel and a very large green iguana that trespassed in my yard. Devastating damage, no through-and-through. Highly recommended.

Bud’s had the best price on this ammo. After seeing a couple videos I wanted to give this a try and it worked just like on the videos. Two guys at work each got a box out my 6 pack order and my neighbor went to the LGS and bought 4 box’s. Great stuff and pretty quiet.

This is the best price I've found in either on-line shops or in brick & mortar stores. The shipping is super fast. These are quieter than normal bullets which make them fantastic to use.

This CCI Quiet loads are all I use now for squirrels and rabbits. Very accurate out of my marlin. I shoot out to 130yrds and is unbelievably consistent. This ammo is way under rated. The hollow points are my main choice and do a fantastic job. Have even killed 2 pigs under 100# with proper shot placement.

After adjusting scope on my Savage bolt action they shot well out to forty yards. This round would not cycle my marlin model 60 but that's what I expected. Very Quite.
