This is my first Ruger product and I must say I have been missing out. This gun is very easy to shoot , very smooth and I put 100 rounds through it straight out of the box and it performed flawlessly. After my experience with the SR9E I decided to put the SR40 on layaway and can't wait to get it out and on the range. Thanks Buds for the excellent service.

This is a well balanced gun.The sights are accurate right out of the box. I've fired 300 rounds so far and haven't had any jamming or ejection trouble. The 9E model is quite a bit less expensive than the SR9 models. Experts say it's because the 9E barrel hasn't been milled smooth round like the SR9. It is the same gun otherwise. I have the 10+1 magazine and had to get a loader ( spring is very strong). I like this Ruger 9E and would recommend it.
