This is my first AR. Sweet shooter. Ruger Quality. A few misfires with light strikes on the primer, but that could have been the bargain Fiocchi I was shooting. No feed issues from the PMags, and maybe had 2 or 3 hangups in 200+ rounds fired. Sweet rifle. Just for funsies I started banging rounds off like Rambo. That's a hoot. Love my Ruger and my very first AR. Great gun!

Decent rifle for the price. Fit on bolt cam pin, firing pin retainer pin was too tight out of the box; had to work on both. Really expected better from Ruger. Shoots reasonably well; preliminary results say it's about a 1.5 - 2 MoA rifle at 100 yards with M193, which is what I expected.

This rifle is a treat. Not heavy on the arms, easy to breakdown and clean, and highly accurate with iron sights for youth deer hunting. Easy to handle for 10 year olds with .223 rounds. This is an all around family rifle that can be shot, cleaned and carried by any family member. Not overpowering to the small frame child and don't look wonky on the big bulky frame guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although I haven't had the chance to fire this yet, if it's anything like our M16s in the Army for 20 years, I have no doubts it will be fine. Love the 6-position stock. It's perfect for when put a gel pad on the end. Added a scope and bore sighted it. The only thing that bugged me was trying to get the rear pop-up sight removed. I watch a couple vids and none of them worked getting it off, so I left it on. Just can't use it with the scope.

Good rifle although I had to send it to Ruger for the bolt carrier to be replaced because it was jamming out of the box it works fine now that they serviced it. Ruger stands behind their products
