Beautiful work of art and it works flawlessly. So happy with this purchase.

Upon opening the box, the rear sight had fallen off during shipment. Functionality was lack luster. I had double feeds and stuck shell casings. Failure to extract as well. The action was very rough. The gun looks super but the above mentioned problems would deter me from giving it a trouble recommending it. Buds was great to deal with and are not at fault.

This purchase was a mistake. I don't blame Buds, but first, it was not a Monte Carlo stock which is why I went new. Second, it doesn't eject normally with two three stovepipes per 50 rounds. In trying to field strip per the directions thinking it has cosmaline or something, realized that the screw holding the barrel is stripped and just spun. Called Remington who is sending a box for me to send it back but have now realized that it's NOT pre-paid even though it hasn't had over 200 rounds through it and only a week old when I called. I'm guessing it will cost me $40 bucks or more to send it in which adds to the overall cost. Looked forward to the gun but am disappointed by the problem and paying to return it to have work done which should have been done when a new gun arrives.

I should have refused this item at my transferring dealer. Upon opening the box, I noticed that the barrel shroud screw (flat head, blued screw) was galled from using wrong type of screwdriver ( leading me to believe someone other than factory monkeyed with it). There was a visible scratch on the receiver from a screwdriver slip as well. I then noticed two small dents in the stock near the pistol grip. Upon shouldering the rifle I noticed it would not pump because someone had removed the forstock action bar screw. We found the action bar screw in the box and got it connected. Then I noticed the barrel retaining screw was galled and there was a big scratch on the receiver where that screwdriver flew off. But someone was good enough to have filled the scratch with a paint pen. I decided to take the rifle as I was willing to live with those blemishes. BIG MISTAKE Upon taking down the rifle later, I discovered that the trigger group was covered in RUST. there was RUST on and in every internal steel component both on the trigger assembly as well as the levers attached to the receiver. The steel follower in the tube magazine was solid scaly red RUST. The internal part of the magazine tube is so pitted from rust the tube feels like it’s riding on sandpaper. But as it turns out the barrel shroud screw is STRIPPED. I spent $22 buying Form a Thread to create a repair. I am disappointed with this transaction, but I have no recourse. I can’t believe Buds sent this to me in the first place. NEVER AGAIN. I have purchased many guns online and this experience was the WORST. I will NEVER USE BUDS AGAIN!!!!!

I purchased a Remington pump 22 just to plink with. It is a very well made rifle. The wood has an excellent finish on it. The pump action has been in Remington rifles and shotguns for a long time and proven its reliability over the years. Buds had the best price I could find anywhere.

The Remington 572 BDL arrived within a few days as promised and the rifle is absolutely beautiful. The craftsmanship and finish work is immaculate.

As usual Buds service was great. The gun on the other hand was a big disappointment. Went to the range and got a very weak hit on the 22 rim fire rounds. Shot 3 different brands of 22lr and the gun misfired about 4 out of 5 shots. This is the most money I've ever spent on a 22 so wasn't happy. But the $200 Ruger 10/22 I bought shot like a champ. Come on Remington!
