Ill save you lots of trouble—BUY THIS GUN & BUY IT FROM BUDS!!
Now the long version...
Watch SOOTCH on youtube. I caught the FNS9C bug from him.
First, Buds is great! I chose the ACH cash discount option, and buyer beware it is truly a 5 day process time. But the minute it was complete they shipped and it arrived as expected.
Second, rumor has it this gun is being discontinued or at least not marketed and I feel that is a terrible thing. The gun is under the radar and shouldn’t be. Micros like 365/hellcat are too small for me. My hands engulf them and I hit mag releases and slide releases unintentionally. The FNS9C has fantastic ergos and better than glock gen 5 trigger in my opinion. It is very easy to maintain sight picture/sight alignment while dry firing. My glock 48 tried to jump out of my hands every trigger pull. There is a little grit on the very short takeup, but the break and reset are just fine for a defense-focused pistol. Rumor has it after 500 rounds the trigger improves.
Lastly, aftermarket is somewhat limited. However warren tactical and trijicon both offer after market sights (i grabbed trijicons black rear/fiber front). There are a few night sight options as well. I also grabbed a black arch 3/4 hybrid holster w/two clips. Clinger, vedder, stealthgear, and garrett all have holster options as well.
I was torn between VP9SK, M&P 2.0 subcompact, CZ P10s, and this. All had goods and bads. FNS9C won when buds had it at a super low cost. VP9SK is limited to ten rounds in stock mags, M&P won’t drop in price for a deal, and lots of trigger bite reports with P10 (before this FNS, I carried a CZ PCR everyday). I really hate the trigger safety bar like glock, CZ, and others use. The FNS9c has a nice fat trigger that shows no signs of trigger bite. Oh the the FNS is truly built like a tank. Beefy rails, front and rear serrations that grip, and the grip texture holds onto you.
I hope this helps.

I received this gun from Buds very quickly as always. I took it out the first day and put around 50 rounds of cheap ammo (from Buds) through the gun, then put some better ammo through it. As I expected, it is flawless in its performance. I own many hand guns Glock, Sig, S&W, Kahr. Taurus. to name a few. I can tell you this is fine weapon. It is very well built, shoots very well, and is very light for carry. It is now my everyday primary carry gun. The recoil is very light (but I shoot a lot of 10mm so...). I am in love with this gun

This is a great price for the quality. Fn barrels are renowned and I swear this one is more accurate than my g19. It's lighter by quite a bit more than my g19 also. I didn't like how squared the edges of the back of the grip was so I beveled them down with a Dremel. Other thing is the slide serrations work, but are kinda sharp. Slide is stiff and needs lube when you get it.

Received the FNS-9C very fast, as usual with Bid's shipping. The gun is built like a tank - typical FNH quality and workmanship. Very tight tolerances, but eats everything I feed it.
I am pleased with the recoil management and it's a great shooter with very good accuracy. I ordered the contract sights - front sight is larger and really easy for target acquisition. Even in low light, they are quite easy to use.
Only thing of note is slide spring is a little stiff which probably accounts for the low recoil. Trigger is crisp but not too light - I like that for a carry weapon.
Very happy with this purchase and the gun will be a keeper.

Buds was great to deal with, from placing my order to picking up the pistol. Ran 200 rounds thru it right out of the box with no problems or hiccups. Took it home cleaned it up , now its my EDC.

This firearm, the FNS 9(C), is absolutely outstanding, the only minor problem was the magazine springs were tight. After shooting several rounds, the problem quickly went away (as it should most of the time). The accuracy was excellent! I started at 15 yards hitting the center of my target and in a matter of minutes, I was hitting the center of the target at 25 yards with ease. I would definately recommend one add it to their everyday carry rotation because it is a very steady weapon. Oh, I shot different types of ammo through it and it took it all. The trigger is good with a pretty nice break. I also think the price is right (I placed mine on lawaway). You will not go wrong if you purchase this handgun. Buds as always is outstanding!

This is an awesome ccw pistol! The fit and finish is top notch. Accuracy is great when using sight #3 where all 3 dots are aligned and using the front dot to cover your intended point of aim for your target. Recoil is very manageable for a sub compact pistol. Trigger pull is ok but I have had about 100 rds flawlessly only through it so it will improve. Trigger reset is nice and audible. I did the layaway plan and it worked out great! Thanks hits will be ordering again soon 👍

I wanted to purchase a different compact handgun for my concealed carry. I have the LC9s and the SR9c and love both. I read reviews of FNS9c and there were no bad ones. I purchased the one without the safety and it is a great pistol. Front site is large and helps with target acquisition especially with my aging eyes. I carry in a Clinger kydex IWB and it is very comfortable. Pistol is very accurate and reacquires target quickly for accurate rapid fire. I have fired about 1000 rounds with no malfunctions of any type. Textured grip is real nice. My hands are small paws and grip feels nice and round compared to Glocks which feel long to me. This is why I love my Rugers because the grips feel so good. The FNS9c is a great addition to my CCW collection.

Another great purchase from Buds! This is my first FNH product and I am very happy with this pistol. The ergonomics and trigger are very good. I ran 100 rounds through this right out of the box and no issues so far.

By far the best striker fired handgun I have used. The trigger is superior to that of stock glocks and smith&wessons. It's ergonomics are also superior. After putting well over 500 rounds through the gun, it has functioned flawlessly. I would recommend it to anyone looking to buy a firearm for concealed carry.

Buds never stops impressing or fails to ship quick. Arrived at my FFL 2 days after my ACH payment cleared, which took way longer than I think necessary. This has become my EDC since I got it. I've run several different kind of ammo through it without issue. 9mm Federal Champion 115 gr FMJ, Federal Munitions 124 gr HP, HPR 124 gr HP, Remington UMC 115 gr FMJ and Hornady American Gunner 124 gr P. No problems at all and this handgun is dead accurate. I do like it comes with 3 mags, 1 flush, 1 with pinky extension and 1 17 round full size. The only extra thing I wish it came with was a speed-loader. This is so much fun to shoot my thumb gets sore at the range loading the mags. The full size version is definitely in my wish list. If FN Herstal USA made a single stack version like this I'd buy it tomorrow.

Best price on the internet & free prompt shipping. Even if local gunships were competitive the sales tax would still give the advantage to Bud's. The FNS 9C is a terrific firearm. I'm a Glock Guy but this is a legitimate competitor to the Glock 19.

So, I have been researching and shooting different 9mm handguns and finally decided on the FNS 9c as my CCW gun. This is also my first striker fired handgun. Now I’ve had some time at the range here is what I’ve noticed and think. First, I am a left handed shooter and for 30 some years I have been compensating using a middle finger drop back for the mag release. This new ambidextrous thing has me a little off and now it’s hard to stop the old habit. That being said, when I use my thumb for the mag release, the base plate catches on the palm of my hand (size 12 hands) and the mag doesn’t drop. When I use my old way of dropping the mag with my middle finger while pulling out another with my right hand, I move the base of my palm just enough for a clean, fast mag drop. So, old habits are best here I guess. I have read a lot about the mag release on this gun and the problems people have had. Mine has had none of these problems. It drops a mag just as fast and with almost as much force as my 1911. My first 50 rounds, I took getting used to the gun and the POA with slow firing and taking a while. Everything came together when I just occluded the target with my front sight like many have suggested on this sight (thanks to all for that one). The sights: I really like the FN 3 dot fixed sight. The front sight dot is very big and I like that. On my 1911 I have a combat black rear sight and I have my front sight painted white. I didn’t even notice the two dots on the rear of the FNS 9c. Perhaps my eye is trained to focus on the front sight. I ordered a pair of night sights from FNH and now I’m not sure I want to put them on since I shoot so well with the stock 3 dot. Ok, so I don’t practice like most people. I try to think of defense situations and practice like I was in an IDPA match or being attacked by a Grizzly (hey, I do live in Wyoming, I’ve had some close calls with Grizzlies). So after getting very good groupings at 7 yards, I started practicing quick draws from a holster, double taps and rapid firing. Wow, this gun has a great trigger. It’s reading just under 5.5lbs on the timney scale and I can tell it’s just a bit more than my 3.5lb trigger on the 1911. The point and shoot character of this gun matches my 1911. I was hitting dead center on double taps; love it. So I put 225 rounds through the FNS 9c my first day on the range. No FTF, no FTLB like a lot of people on here have complained about. I used 200 rounds of Winchester 124gr NATO and 25 rounds in various combinations of Buffalo Bore 124gr +p JHP and +p+ penetrator rounds. I like using buffalo bore for my carry rounds. And, I use the Buffalo Bore 45acp +p 255gr hard cast for my forest round. Gotta have something that will crush a bear skull in Wyoming. I find carrying the gun to be very comfortable. Ok, I’ve been carrying a 1911 for years but before that I would carry a CZ P-01 in cities. The FNS 9C is much lighter than the CZ and the ½” difference in total length does make a huge difference IMO. My current carry holster is the Blade-Tech IWB soft holster. Not a big fan of it but it’s ok. I ordered an aliengear IWB holster a few weeks ago and hopefully that will be as good as all the reviews say. Anyway, easy to carry, light, doesn't print with a decent shirt. I would recommend this gun to anyone for a concealed carry. I called a Marine buddy of mine and told him I’m sold on striker fire now. He told me I should be sold on FNH because they make great weapons. Another great buy from Bud's gun shop. Thanks Bud's!
