This rifle is nothing short of amazing and a powerhouse. The barrel comes threaded (with a thread protector) to easily accept a muzzle brake or flash hider. I have added a muzzle brake which greatly reduces the recoil. The rifle has 3 scope swivel points which greatly aid in the addition of a bipod or monopod. Some may find this rifle on the heavy side but will find sub moa accuracy due to the heavy barrel an easy task. This rifle accepts Remington 700 scope mounts which are readily available and make scope mounting a non issue. The bolt action is long throw though not combersome, and the bolt is easily removed for maintenance and cleaning.

I love this gun. Over the past 20 years I have owned Rugers, Remington 700's(the old good ones) and other various brands. Bergara is in a category of its own. Out of the box the Bergara is impressive, the build quality, fit and finish is excellent and everything on it feels like top quality. The stock is excellent and has a great feel. I love the heavy barrel that is threaded. I put a Ultradyne Apollo Max muzzle brake on it and the recoil is less than a .223. I paired the rifle with a Zeiss Conquest V4 6-24x50 and it's a match made in heaven. With Federal Gold match ammo I routinely get 4-5 bullet holes touching at 100m. Definitely sub MOA. The adjustable trigger was very nice out of the box. For $1000 this rifle cannot be beat. For target shooters this rifle is a dream, I'm not sure I would want to carry this for long distances hunting, it is not a light gun. I am beyond pleased. This was my first Bergara product, they flat out make a great product, I highly recommend it.

I'm using the 20 inch barrelled 308 cal. version. Wow, what a rifle! Supreme accuracy out of the barrel (roughly 1/4-1/2 MOA), and fits Remington 700 scope rings and rails. The action is incredibly smooth, and the bolt can fall all the way open on its own when the rifle is held vertically and the bolt unlocked. Controls are all well placed and familiar, with a very visible and accessible safety, and a red cocking indicator. Very well made rifle -- I'll sing its praises to all who ask.

I love this rifle. I mounted a Nightforce NXS 5.5X22X56 on it and headed to the range with Hornady 168gr ballistic tip. Once I got her sighted in, she keeps sub MOA groups consistently. I attached my supressor on her and maintained sub MOA groups. My Wife has the exact rifle in 6.5 creedmoor and loves it as well.

Received this rifle and have been extremely pleased. Smooth action, excellent accuracy right out of the box. It is from Bergara, so I expect this rifle will provide me years of excellent hunting for pig and elk, and the periodic mule deer. If you are looking for long range quality, combined with excellent customer service and warranty, look no further. This one won’t disappoint.

I don't think I'm going to like this rifle. The transaction with Bud's was flawless, as usual. But I'm going to have problems with this rifle. After mounting my scope, I took the gun out to the range. My mistake was taking my wife with me. I went through the break-in procedure – no problem. I zeroed the scope – no problem. After ten rounds, I took the target out to 100 yards. After a couple of adjustments, I was shooting Hornady Black 168 gr. right at MOA with a Q-Hal Nelson suppressor. Then I made the mistake of asking my wife if she would like to shoot. She is 70-years old and a deadly shot with her 9mm M&P Shield, but she has never shot a rifle. I didn't think that she would want to, but she surprised me. It took her awhile to get comfortable and find the target. She fired her first round. I thought she might shoot once more, but she surprised me by finishing the magazine. I was astonished looking through the spotting scope. She was hitting the target near where I was hitting. I went down and changed her target. Then I loaded another magazine. Again, I was amazed at her accuracy. She did let me shoot it a few more times before we ran out of ammunition. Just hope she will let me shoot it again by myself. It is an awesome gun!

I love this gun! Solid accuracy with an exceptional trigger. The action is extremely smooth. Stock is nice looking it very functional. Definitely my favorite bolt gun for hunting that i own.
