I really wanted the XDe hammer fired but they were unavailable at the time. I did change trigger to flat faced and this pistol shoots really well, used it for my EDC until the S&W CSX came out!

Very reliable and accurate Firearm

This gun is one of my most favorite purchases from buds...First its just a beautiful gun!!! Perfectly built and fits in the palm of my hands..i have xlarge hands, but this gun is perfect for EDC...
It's a bad ass .45 knock down power!! Get one.

I have to start with I carry a Springfield Hellcat. I wanted something with some more pop. I live in Connecticut, so I am limited to 10 round magazines. I mention that because I don’t lose many rounds with the .45. With that said, I chose the XDS mod 2 .45. What a gun!! I have a couple hundred rounds through it and have had no issues. I find the gun more accurate than the Hellcat. I am not a small guy, but this gun disappears inside the waist band for me. Love this purchase and Buds Guns!!!

This is a perfect pistol . . 4 non millennials. If you could live without fiber Red Dot Optics this is for you. It's been discontinued by Springfield Armory but available here at buds. I am old school I like real sites drifted in and drifted it out so I can replace them with my choice. 45 ACP is the only caliber if your life is truly in danger. Buy it you all like it!

This was my first Springfield Armory gun. I am impressed. The ergonomics are fantastic, and it's easy to conceal. It's easy to takedown and clean. Shooting it really surprised me. I thought it was going to have massive amount of recoil. It's not bad at all. It shoots like a much larger pistol. The accuracy is much better than I expected out of a 3.3" barrel. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I have smallish hands and stubby fingers and owned a compact double stack 45 that I hated because the trigger was a tough reach for me and the trigger was stiff, so I was deciding on a replacement with a single stack mag when I first handled an XDS M2 45. The grip fit me well. I own a couple more Springfields and like them so the XDS was my choice. By the time I was in a position to buy, the world had changed and these had become scarce, along with a lot of other modestly priced pistols. I kept an eye out and
checked my favorite supplier - Bud's - pretty often until I found one and was Bud's low price guarantee ensured that I got an extremely fair deal during the shortage market while prices were going crazy. Thank You Bud's!
My XDS M2 .45acp came in a box with 2 5rd magazines, one with finger extension, fiber optic front site, lock, chamber flag, and a zippered soft case. Workmanship is typical SA quality and I had no issues with fit/finish. Despite it's small size, recoil was not an issue, trigger was crisp and smooth after a little take up, trigger pull was mild. I had no feed or eject problems shooting S&B 230gr FMJ and Legend 230gr HP.
I'm happy with it.

Gun shoots good. Just dont order ammo from buds cause they take the payment pretty quick , and they say it's in stock but good luck getting it . I guess if you pay x amount of money to be a member you may get it lol.

Received in perfect condition (as usual from Bud’s) and I took it to the range right away. It’s thin, fits my hand well, and shoots right to point of aim at 10 yards. Highly recommend for CCW.

I recently purchased this update to the XDS after carrying the XDS daily for over a year. The XDS mod 2 is greatly improved. The grip texturing is much more comfortable to shoot, the trigger is a lot smoother, and the gun is just an overall improvement and better to shoot. It's worth spending the $$ to upgrade.

Didn’t get nite sights witch I ordered with gun can u make it right

The mod2 is almost everything I wanted in the xds 45. The xds is a excellent carry pistol and xds is good improvement.
