This is a monster! Very comfortable in your hand and one of my favorites in my collection. I haven’t fired it yet but am very happy with the purchase as I’m more of a collector than target shooter.

Buds delivers as usual. Surprisingly nice and smooth. Added a pistol scope. Recoil is very manageable due to the weight and balance. Porting probably helps. Fun gun for the money.

Although at first sight the gun i received was a little different then the one on the picture, I loved the pistol and it shipped fast and hassle free. I received a fully blacked out Raging hunter with no red stripe on the grip, but honestly I like it better that way.

Received this firearm a few days ago and I am very pleased with it. When my FFL dealer unboxed it for me, it for sure had an intimidation factor to it. It’s considered a top 10, 44 mag revolver for 2020. Buy it and you’ll see why.

This revolver is amazing. I owned a raging bull in 44 with the 6 inch barrel a few years back and loved it. I have almost 200 rounds through this and I can tell I will love this one just as much. Feels right in my hand and the recoil is smooth. Might put a optic on it but then again the iron sights are very pronounced and accurate. Overall a amazing gun for a amazing price.

Taurus has broke the mold with this one!! Great to shoot. Light and easy to handle even with massive length!! Highly recommend this to anyone who may be thinking about getting one!!

Absolutely love this gun.

This is the best shooting Pistol I have ever shot. I did not notice the recoil at all. The trigger pull is stiff out of the box but I installed a spring kit to take care of that. I topped the Raging Hunter with a halo scope and shot a 3” group at 110 yds. I could not be more impressed with The Raging Hunter.

This is a mean looking revolver. It shoots very well. I have about 100 rds through it with zero issues. Topped with a Burris TRS-25. It's amazing. I would not hesitate on it. Although I did. I wanted to see one in person but nobody had one so I took a chance and dont regret it.

At half the cost of other .44 caliber hunting handgun manufacturers, the Taurus Raging Hunter has all the features of a custom made and more expansive revolver included without breaking the bank.
I had been interested in purchasing a handgun for hunting over 4 years, but was always reluctant due to the price of them especially once you start adding a scope and barrel porting.
Then I discovered the Raging Hunter and am I ever glad that I waited and purchased this weapon.
First off, the Picatinny rail makes it a LOT easier to mount your choice of scopes. Red dot, holographic, or, as in my case, a standard telescopic sight which simply mounted with Weaver style scope rings. No drilling or tapping needed as other hunting handguns do.
Secondly, the ported barrel eliminates the majority of kick back and muzzle flip. Believe me this is definitely a point in it's favor, especially when spending a day at the range. You don't get this without spending a LOT of extra cash given to a gunsmith to modify the other manufacturer's guns.
Third, this thing is light when compared to other even short barreled revolvers. This will make a huge difference while I'm out traversing our family's ranch....lightweight & mobile makes for a happy hunter.
At the range, it functioned flawlessly with the Remington 240gr. SJHPs I fed it. Trigger was a bit stiff, but hey, it's a new gun!!
Since I plan on using this for both deer and feral hog, I mounted a Simmons Pro-Hunter 4x scope on it.
After initial bore scope, I was only 1" off at 25yds
Moved to 100yds. and was hitting within a 6" circle every single time after a few scope adjustments.
To me, this is outstanding out of an 8.38" barrel and only a 4x scope.
I would HIGHLY recommend the purchase of this handgun to anyone wanting to get started in handgun hunting or to those that are experienced handgun hunters.
You can NOT beat the price for the features this revolver has.

First of all....I was elated when I found that Bud's had this particular firearm IN STOCK AND READY TO SHIP! The price was less than the MSRP on Taurus' web site. The Raging Hunter is not heavy in the hand...i haven't taken RayDog to the range yet, but I plan to do so this weekend! I'm truly a semiautomatic woman, but this firearm is beautiful! This is my third Taurus firearm! 😁😁
