One of the smoothest shooting pistols I have. For the money, you get a lot of features. The aggressive grips dig into my hands and really settles the gun in. Built quality is amazing. On top of that, Buds have a sweet customer service and smooth transaction as always.

Amazing 1911. I have over 500 rounds through it (which isn’t a lot) and have yet to have a FTF. I put a solid rear sight and reverse plug and GI guide rod from 10-8 performance. Makes taking it apart toolless and it runs great. Buy it. Don’t hesitate.

I absolutely love this 1911! It is extremely accurate and it is very well made. The slide to frame fit is very tight which makes it a little difficult to work the slide at first but after 150 rounds it became very smooth. The only slightly negative things that I have to say about it is that the front strap checkering is very aggressive and the full length guide rod makes it a pain to take down but I put a tooless guide rod in to solve that problem . The checkering does help you keep a very firm grip but if you like to shoot alot in one session it may start to wear on your fingers. Its not a huge deal to me but if you have soft hands it may not feel the best. I dont usually notice it until I've shot more than 50 rounds. I really like the Armory Kote coating that they use, it is very tough! Im pretty rough on my handguns and i havent seen a stratch yet! I would not hesitate to buy this 1911 again, it is by far one of the best i have ever used and definitely worth the extra money over the cheaper models!
